Hello! I have quite a few questions needing to be answered.

Alright, are there any restrictions based on any of the following: I'm 20, a college student in the US dating a man from Mexico, 27, also a student, for 3 years now. We would like to get married and be together here in the US.

I was wondering the steps that I have to take to make this happen.

What are the requirements for us to get married and have him become a US citizen?

Also he would be wanting to come to school in the US, if that's an important detail.

:wow: Thats a pretty staight/forward question. We don't fill-out the Forms for you.

Start with this Link. The basics.

Read very well. There is nothing to stop you from Filing a Petition if you meet the Requirements of USCIS.

Go to K-1 Forums and see more basics and read.

And as always, GOOD LUCK !

You can either get married in the US or Mexico and file for a spouse visa (he will have to wait in his country during the process, but as soon as he is granted the visa, he will have a green card when arriving to the US), or file for a fiance visa (faster to get but he will have to file for an adjustement of status after arriving to the US, which takes about 2-3 months).

I suggest you read first this guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/compare

There is a long path before he becomes a US citizen, but with the green card, he will a legal permanent resident which allows him to work (and study I guess… you need confirmation by other members).

Also, if you're currently a student, I guess you will need to co-sponsor, which is an important point.

Read also the USCIS instructions about the fiance visa: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=640a3e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=640a3e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD and the spouse visa http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=10093e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=10093e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD
