Here we go ! Woohoo! lol, well I'm kind of excited and not excited about the paperwork that needs to be done haha, but I'm triple-checking what we have!!! Thanks for the input :D

Myself (petitioner):

I am organizing a packet with divers and everything labeled that he needs to add as well. However these are the documents I'm sending him:

Current Intent to Marry Signed and Dated

Copy of I-129 packet sent off previously

Evidence of keeping in touch (i'm keeping this small, screen prints of phone calls, bbm messages, (no visits since my last visit there so no new photos to give anyways) but not a lot, as I know from reading reviews London does not look at these like at all)

I am confused about the I-134 though, I am a little short in what I needed to make to support us, I have enough in savings to cover the difference for 5 years, but I want a co-sponsor to be on the safe side. Does anyone know if they updated 2012 for what we need to make in a year? I have already gotten 2009-2011 tax transcripts from the IRS for myself. Unfortunate from this year compared to last year I did make a significant amount more as I was in a new job that paid more and I got a lot more hours than previous year. I also just received the amount that is in my stock account, can I send a copy of that along with it? Do I need to print out pay stubs to show what I make in a month now? 1 month or more?

With my co-sponsor, I was just going to use my sister, she made over the 18K mark, does it matter if she has a son? Or can she just fill out the I-134 and that be all? Does it have to show that she has partial custody of him ? And I understand she needs two pieces of evidence, is her W-2 and a couple months of bank statements to show the money being deposited in there every 2 weeks?

Now for Daniel:

One our case is logged in the system, he can send in :

DS-230 pt 1 (1 copy, signed, pages 1 and 2 only)

DS-156 (2 copies, signed both, this one has the barcode)

DS-156K (1 copy, do NOT sign)

DS-157 (2 copies, do NOT sign)

DS-2001 (as soon as our case is logged, I'd like him to make his appt for his medical, this is okay right? Cause then he'll be able to send in this form)

Cover Letter stating Name, e-mail address, anticipated date of wedding (padded by a month), and the date of the medical)

and this is all sent to the London Embassy, can anyone tell me what the address is or where I can find it?

Then for his interview, he'll bring the paperwork I sent to him and :

passport

police certificate (do they give this back to him at the medical?)

long form birth certificate

2 US sized passport pictures

updated letter of intent signed and dated

anything else he needs??

Thanks everyone, you guys are amazing and so very helpful to me during this time!

Don't forget your pictures (US Citizen). Lots of fun, wait until the interview and more paperwork for Visa and AOS. Look on the USCIS site directly to double check if you need to. The more you know the easier or more confusing it its, depending on your critical thinking.

I am confused about the I-134 though, I am a little short in what I needed to make to support us, I have enough in savings to cover the difference for 5 years, but I want a co-sponsor to be on the safe side. Does anyone know if they updated 2012 for what we need to make in a year? i dont know. 3 months of pay stubs i believe and a letter from your employer is recommended.

With my co-sponsor, I was just going to use my sister, she made over the 18K mark, does it matter if she has a son? Or can she just fill out the I-134 and that be all? Does it have to show that she has partial custody of him ? And I understand she needs two pieces of evidence, is her W-2 and a couple months of bank statements to show the money being deposited in there every 2 weeks? her son will be classed as a dependant so she will need to make enough for 3. this will have to be marked down on the I-134. W-2, bank statements, pay stubs, letter from employer... at least 2 of those 4 i think. she will also need to show proof of being a USC (copy of passport or US birth certificate)

Cover Letter stating Name, e-mail address, anticipated date of wedding (padded by a month), and the date of the medical)

send in all the forms except for DS-2001 and book the medical as soon as he receives the letter from the embassy. once he has completed his medical and he is sure he has all required documents then send in DS-2001

and this is all sent to the London Embassy, can anyone tell me what the address is or where I can find it?

this is the link to where the letter from the embassy will direct you to... http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

Then for his interview, he'll bring the paperwork I sent to him and :

passport

police certificate (do they give this back to him at the medical?) and copy. yes they will return the original

long form birth certificate and copy. again they will return the original.

2 US sized passport pictures

updated letter of intent signed and dated

anything else he needs?? cant think of anything off the top of my head

Thanks everyone, you guys are amazing and so very helpful to me during this time!

so long as he has his original, or an original certified copy, then just a photocopy will do.

if she lives alone then she will count herself, her child, and the immigrant that she is co-sponsoring. if there are others that live with her or depend on her then she needs to count them too but dont count yourself as your not dependant on her.

okay, that'll work, as long as they're still going by the 2011 guidelines she made a few thousand more. i'll ask her tonight to get her things pay stubs, bank statements, letter from employer, i-134 and a copy of her birth certificate will do then? she doesn't have a passport.
