:thumbs: Glad all the new passport filers have their passports in their hands already. I got my CoN back in the mail today. My postal carrier shoved it in the mailbox and the passport processing center stapled it! So it's a little worse for wear. But the bend will go with time, but there are 2 holes in the corner now. On the other hand, at least I have it.

I ended up expediting ... they allow you to do that by phone after you've sent it in. Received naturalization certificate and passport card the following week.

I just checked the online status which says I should get it on or about 6/23, keep my fingers crossed...

it takes longer than I expected.

I ended up expediting ... they allow you to do that by phone after you've sent it in. Received naturalization certificate and passport card the following week.

Quick question -

I'm getting a passport for my son . He is 12, became citizen when we naturalized.

One of the requirements is :

 An statement of your U.S. citizen parent detailing all periods and places of residence or physical presence in the United States and abroad before your birth

What is this supposed to look like? Is this a list of every place I (parent) have lived in since I was born?

Is city, country and year enough? Or do they want more detail?

And just out of curiosity why do they care?
