I feel like my husband is being fooled by uscis

BZmommy -

There are services in the US that could help your husband if he had your daughter over there alone. He would need to talk to Department of Health and Human Services in his area. There is help with care givers.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

And the pount of this post was to know if we needed a referral number in order to know that they are working on the expedite or not. I was not asking opinions about my reasons to expedite or my mistake. I think who decides if i can have my case expedited is USCIS and not members that have no clear knowledge.

For those who helped thanks and for those who get all butt hurt. Sorry

Childcare help in arizona is actually frozen you know due to the state of the economy they are not being able to accomodate everybody's needs. Also it would have to be a private nanny/ nurse with experience to place the tube as she pulls it out and thats not cheap. I cannot leave my daughter with anyone.

Why not add the child to your husbands insurance and go private?

Because they (mom and baby) are in Brazil, so his insurance isn't relevant. If they want private insurance they'd need to buy extra there from a Brazilian company.

NOA 2. Really?

Through DHHR, there might be some care where a nurse would come in daily to take care of these things.

I'm just saying might, but it might not hurt to check.

OP, I know this was not your original question, but may I suggest something for you while you're waiting for USCIS to take action?

Has your husband looked into traveler's health insurance for the USC baby? It may be able to buy you a few months of access to private health care in Brazil while you wait. I don't know if her pre-existing conditions would preclude you from getting this, but it may be worth looking into as a possible way to avoid waiting 3 months to see a specialist on your public health care. You would probably have to pay up front and then have the provider reimburse you for services, but explore all your options, as others have suggested.

I will keep your family in my thoughts and hope all works out in the best possible way.

In the majority of cases it is.

Perhaps the best bet would be for the baby to go to his parents/family whilst the immigration side of things is being sorted out.

The baby's needs sound urgent.

Thank you for all your help, while i appreciate all the ideas her going there alone is not possible as my husband cannot attend her needs alone, does not feel comfortable and is not prepared for it. I have been the one changing tubes, going to therspy, drs. He workes for the state and let me tell you he does not have a lot of time off. We will see if they will accept expedite since tier 2 said they should give an answer monday and we will go from there.

So he is already looking after the 4 year old or is she in Brazil?

I meant his family in Maine.
