How long after 2 month culture can I get vaccine?

HI

We want to reschedule our interview date, but we don't know when we can get my wife's vaccine. They said call back on March 21 for the results and then schedule for vaccine. Does anyone have any idea how long between the results and the vaccine? Thank you!

Consulate : Manilla, Philipines

2009-07-15: Marriage

2011-03-23: I-130 Sent

2011-03-29: I-130 NOA1

2011-07-09: I-130 RFE

2011-08-16: RFE Reply Sent

2011-08-18: RFE Reply Received at USCIS

2011-09-19: NOA2 approved

2011-10-12: Received NVC

2011-10-20: Paid $88 fee

2011-11-29 NVC submitted

2011-12-08 NVC approved

2011-12-12 Received interview date - need to change

2012-02-01 New Interview Date - need to change again - sputum required

2012-01-11 Medical - 3 day sputum required

2012-01-18 Begin 3 day sputum test

2012-01-23 Results of Sputum negative now wait for 2 month culture

2012-03-21 ***culture results*** NEGATIVE!!!

2012-03-27 Interview!!!

***APPROVED***

2012-03-30 IR-1 delivered, still waiting for IR-2

2012-04-04 IR-2 Delivered!!!

2012-06-08 POE LA

2012-06-20 SS card arrives

2012-06-26 Green Cards arrive

2012-07-03 Health Dept calls for follow-up TB testing?

** Ramona went through more testing including xrays. The doctor said he couldn't find any evidence of Tb and cleared her for everything.

for the interview i think slec will resched....the culture it takes 2months to find out the result....call slec on that day hopefully they will have the result then...if negative your wife will get her vaccines...

Thank you. What I am trying to find out is if anyone knows how many days after a negative result can I get the vaccine. Like do I have to wait for an appointment or what happens at that step. I'm trying to figure when I can schedule my interview.

If the culture result will be negative then you'll get the vaccine the day you will go there at SLEC. In my experience, I called SLEC the day they wanted me to call and when they accidentally told me my result(that was negative) I called USEM to scheduled my interview the day after i got my vaccine. Good Luck.

In my experience, I called SLEC the day they wanted me to call and when they accidentally told me my result(that was negative) I called USEM to scheduled my interview the day after i got my vaccine. Sorry for the late reply, we were in transit. That sounds good, so they allowed you to pick any day you wanted for the vaccine? I went to the embassy on Wednesday and they told me if I was sure the culture would be negative, just go ahead and schedule the interview, I'm 99.9% sure the culture will be negative.

Yes, when you call for the result, they'll tell you to show up for your vaccines. You may wish to call the Center a day or so before the 2 months is up so you can show up on THE day and get your vaccines. I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to give them any sooner. Best of luck!!
