A lot of recent complaints of USCIS (cali and vermont) holding approved petitions for long time to send them in batches NVC. VSC complaint was approved May 2, and Cali complaint was approved May 14... Guess another step to sit, wait, and see. Also, a few people were sent to NRC (national record center) for further backgrounds... guess this is a black hole waiting period. --- Offering the right nut now for quick xfer to kiev!!! The waiting never ends..

uhhh, my mistake, i guess the CSC approved noa2's (more than 1) were sent to National Records Center by accident... be lucky you were not in this pile. CSC wants them back to re-review to be sure everything is in order (they were told could take up to 90 days). whew... you may be passing up some of those Dec petitions after all...

kiev or bust.

like this process isn't long enough, then you add some id**ts who don't even know where things are meant to be sent to.... oh dear, thank god we are in the electronic era.... but I wouldn't be surprised if I were to see some people writing on stone there!!! Lol

Well apparently when we called in the middle of May we somehow launched a service request then. So we're waiting nearly a month later on a service request. Wonderful.

Wow. Terrible. Maybe the Congressional Inquiry will have some effect...But at this point, it seems we can count on nothing...

Wow. That is a terrible turn of events for those petitions. This process is crazy. ha. Seems like everything went to hell starting in May..

My Congresslady's contact person for this stuff is out of the office!!! Ahhhhh...so all I can do is go and fax the release form so that when she does call, she will talk to me right away....

We are now past our VJ timeline that said Monday-Thursday of this week. I do want to cry. But I am here with my hunny at least, though he is stuck at work so much it is not really like I see him since we don't live together at the moment. Ugh. I just want to get us both out of this dangerous country so I can sleep more peacefully at night. I have barely slept since they tried to break into my building over a month ago. Then they killed someone along the highway as he was heading home from work this week...right in front of him just forced a car to stop and shot the people inside. I am soooo tired of this!

Well, better get myself busy with this fax and other stuff so that I don't go totally crazy today!

Hoping to see some CSC approvals when I get back on here this evening!!!!!!

Can you move to a safer neighborhood? That's what we did and it really makes a big difference. We pay a little bit more but it's worth it to have a peace of mind.

ahh..that time of the year I guess. I'm planning on starting something next week with it. Coming to the conclusion of 5 months so I don't feel it'll be too early. the chances that they're going to just systematically approve it on day 150 are low. so might as well just get things rolling. it's been enough time.

I can't find anything anywhere safer! Haha. I have been looking and there are only huge houses available. Plus, he doesn't live with me b/c there is nowhere to put his motorcycle where I live--the gate opens to 2 flights of stairs so we can't leave it inside the gate even..and that's the main problem--that he has to go all the way to his mom's house which is not in a great area. Soooooo a friend is supposed to give me some phone numbers of possible apartments but so far, nothing. So even more than the location, it is the travel to and from wherever we live/could live and work. I would love to move farther out into the country around where some friends of mine live but the electrity/internet is too sketchy for my job since I have to have both to earn my paycheck! Sooooooooo hopefully my friend gives me some numbers of good places and something works out. I hate to have to move when we are this close, though!!!!!!

Yes. VSC has gone to #######..Past 2 days with no adjudications reported here so far...And I've got more bad news. I had a lengthy discussion with my attorney today about whether or not to do the inquiry. My attorney has over 25 years experience and has done 1,000s upon 1,000s of these petitions. So as hard as it was to hear it...I am going to trust his words. He was already paid in full for his services and has nothing to gain by disclosing this...I mentioned my connections to a Congressman and potentially initiating an inquiry or even a phone call from the Congressman himself...

Don't do it. He was able to prevent me from committing a pretty big mistake. He's had clients in the past try this. Begged them not to do it. And the result was always the same. More delay. Some were delayed by weeks. Pulls you out of line and then the petition has to make it to a supervisor. Then it has to get back into the line (and odds are it won't make it back there in a timely manner). It will actually delay the approval. So if you haven't inquired yet. Don't do it. This was hard for me to hear. But it makes sense. And I worried that this could be a risk..We really are on our own with this. Pretty much at their mercy...So this experience doesn't get much better...hope for now that it doesn't get much worse...
