Exactly. I'm contacting my attorney today to get his opinion on some of the options with the Congressional inquiry. I have a close enough relationship with my Congressman (family friend) that maybe he'd even call them on behalf. I wonder what kind of level of service that would yield. I don't know if it would even help at all. But I'm looking to anything right now to just get this over with. I really don't want to be sitting around 3 weeks from now still wondering what's going on with NOA2..This process is horrible.

we should all have put a microchip that would start playing a pretty song after let's say 3 months, so maybe that would have attracted attention to those boxes that been sitting there that time! lol

I think the only thing that would slow me down is the fact I had extremely high security clearance for some IT roles. Actually I would have thought that would expedite it...

You would think... My fiance works for Dept. of Defense.. doesn't matter.

I was there visiting him for almost 3 weeks and he had to work a lot of the time too, but he did manage to take some extra leave time while I was there...

Now that I am back home and still no NOA2... the wait seems almost unbearable. Leaving at the airport was extremely difficult this time... the only thing that keeps me going is that is the last time we will have to part like that. Next time we get to stay for good.

The thing that sucks is that the consulate I have to deal with for my interview is Montreal and from what I see on the Canada boards that again is a very slow process... like it could be another 3 to 4 months just to get an interview...

I was hoping that we could move in time for my kids to start the new school year there (3rd week of August)..now I'm just hoping to be there before the American Thanksgiving..

C'mon USCIS... give us all a little hope today. Please start cranking out the approvals!!

Yup. If we're in the same box, maybe they'll pull the whole thing off the shelf. They have to report back the status of the petition regardless of what they do. And technically they work for Congress. Congress created them. I'm hoping what that former adjudicator said was true. The interview on this website said that when they receive an inquiry, it often updates in the system to "pull file and work immediately." Again as long as it's within reason. obviously can't call 2, 3, or even 4 months in and expect that type of result. But next week is the last week before my 5 weeks are up. So it might get some movement going. Combat this roulette a little bit. Hopefully, it will get some results. So a few more days and most likely I'll give this a try. Should be interesting to see what happens. I would also think the average filer is not initiating inquiries. so the few of us that do probably have a shot at something happening. Now if he'll actually call there, then I'll be very interested to hear how that goes ha.

oh I remember that day back in February when I was saying goodbye to my love at the airport and we were both crying as we had no idea how much time would it take to see each other again. Now, 4 months later we are in the same place... black hole! The only thing that keeps us going is the fact we won't have to say goodbye again, but that's about it...no idea when will we say hello either! CRAZINESS!!!!

That would be great if it gets things moving! I just looked up my congressman so I know who to contact a week from Monday if nothing happens by then. 5 months is a long enough wait and London is a slow consulate for getting interviews. I just want to see some progress.

Unfortunately, it's true. Add on that it's summer and the Olympics are happening...

From what orangedesk posted in the UK forum a week or so ago, from receipt of the NOA2 to the interview will be about three months since her fiancé's interview is scheduled for August.

It looks like the good thing we all have going for us is according to the USCIS trend chart, June seems to be the month with the highest number of completions over the last 2 years.. (well for VSC anyway). Am I correct, or just wishful thinking?
