I JUST CALLED ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY ARE NOW WORKING ON THE 6TH OF FEB, WOOOOOWWWWW!!!! JUST GOING MAD HERE NOW.

If that is the case, then you CAN file a service request. They are past your filing date. Did they start a service request for you?

My Visa has JUST arrived in hand! A massive envelope with huge black writing saying 'TO BE OPENED ONLY BY THE UNITED STATES IMMIGRATION OR PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE OFFICER"

It's finally over! 236 days after we first sent the package!

Congrats to you! Great news!

YEAH!! GOT THEM TO FILE service request FOR ME.

That's great! You'll get an email that says they are "processing" it and that you should expect an answer in 60 days. Ignore it, it's a standard email everyone gets. It shouldn't take 60 days. Keep your head up, there's progress!

Hey Guys just an update:

The congressman's office called me this morning. She told me that she called Vermont again today and they told her that our file has now been assigned to an adjudicator..

She also asked them why some people that received RFE's after ours were already adjudicated and we are still waiting. They said that doesn't happen, and if it does, it's very rare... (yeah, okay  ) I have about 15 instances of it happening around our case alone..

So that gives me a little hope that maybe NOA2 will come this week. Fingers, toes and all other appendages crossed! :P

UGH that is so annoying (but I must say, you are handling this much more gracefully than I was! LOL)

Every single one of my appendages is crossed for you :P

Thanks KT :)

I was going absolutely bonkers before my trip, but I was fortunate enough to be able to spend 3 weeks with my hunny and it gave me a break from thinking about it. I know there are a lot of couples on here that haven't seen each other in months and my heart goes out to them.

It is extremely annoying and unfair, but what can you do? Just hope and pray for the best and know that love conquers all! (L)

It is very tough, but just try to take it one day at a time, vent on this thread and call, email whoever you can to try and get things done.

Congrats Photomile and LorRenee!!! Very happy for you guys!

At least you know something has happened with it now. It might not be much consolation, but it's something!
