1/17/12: Mailed Original I129F packet via USPS with signature confirmation to Dallas Lockbox

1/19/12: Packet received at Dallas Lockbox

1/24/12: Received text message notification at 12:47am central time stating packet was received and our case number

1/24/12: Received E-Notification in email that I129F packet was being sent to VSC for initial review

1/27/12: Received NOA1 in US mail

7/12/12: Received text notification at 3:45pm central time stating our case had been updated *APPROVED!*

7/15/12?: Received NOA2 in US mail (not sure of this date)

7/20/12: NVC forwarded case to London Embassy

7/27/12: Fiance received letter from London Embassy stating they'd received our case and instructions for obtaining interview

7/30/12: Fiance mailed DS 156, DS 156K, DS 230, DS 157, DS 2001 to London Embassy

8/20/12: Medical

8/31/12: Called DOS and was told interview date: 10/3/12

9/3/12: Sent email to London Embassy requesting interview date be changed

9/5/12: Received response from London Embassy (via email) stating interview date had been changed to 9/10/12

9/7/12: Received new letter from London Embassy with new interview date & time

9/17/12: Received Visa in the mail

So, Photomile posted at '9pm' saying he couldn't sleep. I'm here at 2:30 in the morning, yippee! It's storming here in Dallas and the thunder won't stop long enough to let me drift to sleep. And of course, once you're awake for any long period of time...you get hungry, ah! Haha. Oh, and totally anxious about his interview, so that isn't helping either! Been waking up every so often going "*GASP* What time is it!? Has he had it yet!?" and nope...not even an hour has passed. :wacko:

Maybe a stupid question but how the cover letter should look like? I always have problems with those and I couldn't find any sample on VJ...

Sabi, not sure if this answers your question but i am assuming you are asking regarding embassy stage....

Dublin does not require a cover letter when you get pack 3, they tell you what to send back ie the checklist and letter of readiness (both on same sheet) and DS 230 part 1. You have to tick the checklist and on the readiness part fill out your name both print and signature, case number, date you are sending it back and your address. Also it asks who will be attending interview with you or alone.

Also included in the pack is info on the medical, the photos required 2 (2x2), the support docs and visa fee ($240 international bank draft) and envelope size and postage(12x14, €12.50 postage).

Cover letter for interview in form of continuing intent to marry is the only letter i know of.........unless pack 4 states otherwise, will let you know once it arrives.

207 days since NOA1.

Tommy arriving Saturday 25th August

Yipee!!!

APPROVED!!!!

Tommy went home 5th Sept

Visa arrived in mail 5th Sept

the the postage is 12.5 now? it used to be 8.00... good to know! Oh yeah I know about the notice of readiness but I wanted to inform them I could take any dates if someone cancels and that I am away September 3-7... oh well thanks for the heads up! So good to have you Neetz ahead of me :)
