This is very helpful, thanks Sabi... gives me hope that it will be soon, very soon! :D (Our RFE reply was 07/18).

Just a quick poll: How many others in our January thread are still waiting for NOA2?? Whether you have RFE or not?

You know I was able to put in a request for expedite, but I personally don't feel like it did anything for me. The way the approvals have been going, and getting notice at the same time as Sabi and Paul, it played out in the order it was always going to. That's just my personal opinion for my situation. I wouldn't do anything different and I would try everything I could because it helped me mentally to keep at it, so just hang in there. The only things that helped me was staying positive for my fiance, this thread and focusing on one day at a time.

Also, there are so many positive messages, I can't seem to keep up with them so thank you to everybody! Let's keep it up for those waiting with RFEs and on their Embassies.

Thanks a lot vosnmars!! Helps a lot not to feel left alone!

Just wanting to vent: I HATE OUR EMBASSY! :crying: Almost 2 months since NOA2 and almost 1 month since they received our petition and still no news from them on when our interview appointment is. They are slowly driving me crazy! :wacko:

Thanks for your support, guys. Really, this sucks. I can't even believe this. I am so stressed out and frustrated. At least getting NOA2 had some sort of "regular" time frame that is posted and they sort of need to keep under control but I feel like we have been fed to the wolves here and it's up to them when they want to decide our fate. It's insane. And at least in the US, you can call somewhere and get some sort of answer even if it's not the one you want....but they literally don't respond to a damn thing here no matter how hard you try! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

yeah I meant to say, we were praising Thursdays and here we are taking advantage of their best day of the week!

I am sure I will wake up tomorrow and check the USCIS website again... just to make sure it wasn't a dream :)

We were approved on a Thursday as well! i love Thursdays now haha. I am Sohappy for you three! I think all of the people on this thread are finally done biting their nails and waiting on you guys to get approved. I dont get a chance to log on very often so I just read this. Congrats everyone! Hope the rest of the January petitiomns are approved soon and that the next steps are smooth and quick. We havent heard from the Mexico consulate yet but im hoping for a September interview and October wedding. Two more months and this thread will be the happiest one on VJ!

Well this was definitely fitting.

Got NOA1 originally while on vacation in Florida. Got RFE when vacationing in Canada. Just got NOA2 within hours of arriving in Florida again this morning. My case just never progressed when I was in my home state!

Congratulations to everyone else who got approval, seems like the ball finally got rolling!

Guys I am going away this weekend and then next week flying to Berlin so most probably till next Friday I wont be able to do my daily updates ( I'll try if I get an access to the internet)...

I am really certain most of the RFEs will get good news next week and also those who still wait. Fingers crossed for our two ladies from Honduras of course too! Be strong people! On a positive note, theres Only 4 months left of this year ( oh wow thats crazy!!!) and we all will be with our loved ones by then :)
