Don't be nervous about your interview. I'm sure it will be alright!

Love your wedding inspiration, so beautiful colors and romantic feel to it! (we should totally have a wedding related thread!)

I think even if you get approvals I'd still go the congressional route just to work out what the hell is going on over there

I'll be interested to see what my Congressman says. I detailed everything on the phone as well as described the situation in the paperwork submitted for the inquiry..I focused particularly on the arbitrary date provided when contacting CSRs about processing, the lack of consistency associated with service requests (some people got the requests through while others were denied), the fact that the website reports a processing date of 5 months, and many petitions are now well beyond 6 months, and finally the fact that there was a void of approvals in the middle of the month that waited much longer for approval...Maybe there will be no answers...But I hope most of us can come out with NOA2 by the end of this week. This has been a terrible experience. Luckily we have such a nice community here. It's the only bright spot during this process. I can't believe tomorrow is 187 days...But honestly...NOA2 in the 180s actually looks good to me now..just please don't be an RFE or pushing us into the 190s. Everyone here has waited so long and been so patient..I think we've all tried to maintain realistic expectations. The fact that we all want to be processed in a relatively reasonable amount of time should not be unexpected, but it seems the government could care less.

Since our contact person at the congressman office is away this week, do you guys think we could contact our senator instead? or should we wait and follow up with the congressman we have contacted originally? Although they are not too helpful and I am really worrying at this stage that our petition is lost somewhere or that we will get RFE! I just want to make absolutely sure we've done anything we could to speed things up!But I don't want to annoy all those people we contact, as that might only slow things down? ny thoughts on that?

haha that only shows how much time I spent on here :P

Yes you can contact your senator I think?? I was told that the visas are a federal issue so the first person I contacted couldn't help me and they referred me to someone else's office.

Tommy, welcome to our thread! I come by every few days and skim through. I don't read every post.

I agree with nominating Sabi as our thread ambassador! ;)

I will be leaving the USA on Wednesday to head over to UK to visit my fiancé. I hope you guys hear something this week!!! Im calling NVC tomorrow to see if they have received our case yet. I want to get that case number ASAP so we can start getting the medical and other things done. I'd like to get in on the last interviews in London before they slow down for the Olympics!!!!!
