Texas22 I don't know what to say to make you feel better but I have been through a lot of petitions that got RFE and then been approved within a month since they replied...even this week I went through some RFE from June that are already approved! Keeping my fingers crossed for you to get back in line asap and so they get to your file immediately...

I know one month would still be a long time for you though...

Yeah, they say they update it once a month. The guy was nice enough, but did seem surprised at first that I filed in mid January and still had nothing. But of course acted like I was slightly over processing times, and not 2.5 weeks. I didn't really get a chance to even ask for anyone higher because he kept talking. I will try again tonight though. with my fiance. I've worked customer service and I remember being in that position, so I think that's why I get so anxious. I told him that they'd been "processing" 1/9 for weeks. They do have scripted answers.

Tex I'm sorry to hear about your RFE. Sabi that's great about your service request. I'm going to try this. What exactly did he keep saying? Maybe I will just tell them that I've already called this line once and they were unable to help me and please send me to level 2 bc I need more info than they can give.

Also I finally got an email from my case worker. They sent her a letter saying the same exact thing about the 6 month bologna. I will try the tier 2 and ask for a service request

After 161 days... RFE!! :crying::crying::crying:

I am so sorry! I know it isn't much of a consolation, but at least you know the case has been actioned. I just hope the RFE is something nice and simple and easy to fix.

We got a service request!!!! i am so proud of my baby!!!

Basically guys when you ring USCIS you have to insist on talking to level 2 CSR!!! Dont even bother explaining to the peraon who answers the phone, just keep saying you want to speak to the level 2. Terry had to repeat like 5 times till they put him through... Then Tier 2 said straight away that we are over the processing time and put through the request. Said we should hear 10-15 days which at this stage i am happy about ad long as someone will at least look at our case!

Yay at least you got something

yes the woman Terry talked to kept talking too but Terry just kept repeating he wants to talk to Tier 2. It took him 25!!! minutes on the phone... the trick is not to mention anything about the service request... just keep talking that you have an issue that you need to speak to tier 2 about as it requires higher level of investigation... just keep talking the way they talk and they have to put you through... they are trained to stop you at level 1 but you are entitled to talk to level 2 if you need to so just keep pressing them and they will put you through!

Terry just told me that at the end of each sentence he was adding he wants to be put through to Tier 2... the woman was a little upset when she finally put him through and he said he wasn't too nice with her either as he was losing his patience with her repeating stuff over and over again... it looks like a tough fight but be strong you guys and don't let them win! We pay them , they are there to service us!
