LOL... that would probably work... I just can't imagine going to those lengths to try and buck the system...

Although... the system is broken... hmmmm

Women and Children First. Children before Women. Most people have children and can relate to this. It is not bucking the system, but the only legit way to express your concern to try and move things along for the sake of someone else.

Try Tier 2 Rep. at USCIS. I think they can help more then regular rep.

Yeah, I think that will be the next thing. Sometimes I feel like just letting things take its course and not let it get to me, but when it does, I start calling, etc. Those ugly feelings will probably resurface about this time next week. girlwerewolf2xn.gif

You make a very good point! My children would be better off if they could start the school year along with everyone else. The adjustment is going to be hard enough on them as it is. I will have my fiance ask the congressman this when he files the papers. :)

no, have him call uscis and ask for expedite on extreme emergent situation. they will take is email address, and email him the next day to request a stetement and evidence. Write up your concerns about the children etc, send in some evidence if you have any and fax or mail it back. 1 day its done. Likely it will be denied, but Yes the system is a lottery, and sometimes you can make your own luck.

im kinda concern still, how long does VSC expect to keep this up for. they have been doing january form the start of may if you look at it, now its july and they barely half way through @ the current trend, people in feb gonna cry. as each day goes by, it seem like things are getting slower. Jan 18th & 19 have almost 100 unapproved petitions alone :crying:. Seems like its gonna take a year from filing to actually touching US soil @ the POE. i thought that was a joke but its gonna be reality for some people especially if they have mandatory AP :(. We need some a miracle

It looks like both VSC and CSC emplyees left their work early today to be ready for tomorrow's ceremony. They don't care about couples suffering here. I am sure when they update their processing time at USCIS, they will extend the processing time to be within 6 months instead of 5 months, especially VSC. Realy I don't know what to say, they are driving us nuts.

My VJ timeline keeps moving out too! :(

I personally hate the fact that your kids would have to relocate during the school. I very think what was not an expedite 2 or 3 months ago, becomes more of one now. You filed and waited your due time to get your children in the new school in time, and it is processing delay now which should not make additional hardship on the kids. I very wish you best luck!!!!

At this rate, I think it'll be the full 6 months before I'm approved, if that. I did just find an apartment for a really good rate, though, so we'll see if that goes through.

Good!! And even if they deny you for technical reasons, you never know where and how some things can get done for a realistic parental concern. Hope your request reaches the right person.
