USPS tried to Delivered my package to Chicago Lockbox on Saturday??

Hey Everyone,

So I've just sent off my AOS Package on Friday via USPS Express to: USCIS Attn: FBAS 131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor Chicago, IL 60603-5517. USPS tried to Deliver the package on Saturday and of course it was closed, so a notice was left for them to pick it up within 5 days. Now my question is, will they pick it up or will it be mailed back to me. I'm just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this situation before??

Removal of Conditions

[03-24-2014] ROC paperwork sent.

[03-25-2014] NOA1.

[04-21-2014] Biometrics

[06-17-2014] Card in production

[06-25-2014] Card in HAND

They may try redelivering first. I get packages mailed to my work address all the time and a lot of times when it is USPS and they try a Saturday delivery and my office is closed, the tracking number will say that they left a card, but they they show up on Monday and redeliver.

its a lock box so there's no one there to take it, they go in every work day i think mine was around 11 and pick everything the post office is holding up. im guessing they would have picked it up today!

Not to worry. They will redeliver it on a work day and someone from USCIS will be in to pick it up from the Post Office box. We get this question a lot and the packages have always been delivered/picked up the next business day or so.:)

I called USPS earlier and the lady told me that because it was listed as "Business" Closed, they automatically attempt delivery the next business day. I just checked the USPS tracker and it now states it was Delivered today at 10:30am :D
