Receipt number not working on USCIS website?

Hello :)

Has anyone ever had a problem with their receipt number not being recognised on the USCIS website? My fiance received the NOA1 text/e-mail a couple of days ago and I have yet to be able to sign in. I know we are very early on and that it probably won't say much, I just wanted to know if I have to wait for a little longer to be able to use the case status tracker?

I'm getting the following message:

Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

•Customer Portfolio Insert Failed

•Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the application receipt number

I've checked that the receipt number begins with three letters followed by 10 numbers, so it isn't that I am reading the wrong thing. Any ideas?

02/10/2012: Interview Date - approved!

25/10/2012: POE - Chicago O'Hare

21/03/2013: AOS interview scheduled for 24/04/2013

24/04/2013: Interview - Approved!

11/05/2013: Green Card received.

There are many posts about this problem. There are quite a few people who are never able to check their status online.

You cant rely on the online status page - its nice to be able to check it but the fact is, its not always updated, its not updated correctly and some peoples never get updated at all. There are people who have moved to the USA and removed conditions and their petition still says initial review.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

The web site is unreliable. Ours never showed up. Just wait 130 days or so for your NOA2 like ours did. Our EAC number never worked in the web site but we are scheduling our interview this week.

the main thing is that you got your NOA1.... that proves that your case is with them and will be worked on when they eventually get round to it. it has only been a few days though so it might show up soon :)
