Hi, Everyone

I filed I-751 on April 20th to Vermont Service Center, it 9 months up to today.

My Question is if they transfer my case to local office for further review, are they going to send me letter first to let me know? If they want me to take an interview, when are they going to send me the reference letter? Since my one year extension will be expired on April 20th this year.

So dissapointed with those people who work in VSC, too slow, dam!!!!!!

Have you checked April 2011 filers thread?

There were 3 approvals today!! So, you are not alone and maybe you are the next!

Received the Approval Letter today :star: .I was approve 1/12/12.

I received today the approval letter dated 1-12-2012. Hope the Card will come soon so I am done with USCIS. My Letter came from local office in Jacksonville, FL.

Got my approval letter today. The day was the 12th. Mine also came from my local Orlando Office. Took exactly nine months. This forum is the best and most informative. Thanks guys and dolls! To those of you who are still waiting, call and ask to speak to a level two officer (after the level one officer tells you that April 4th is currently being processed). Seems like when you speak to one, they send a nudge down the line.

You probably won't be told if your case is transferred to a local office for interview until you get the notice to appear in the mail. Mine was transferred and I wasn't told via CRIS or letter. I even spoke to the mis-info line after the interview notice had been generated but before I received it and I still wasn't told.

IF you are still married, just file your N-400 for citizenship and get it over with since you are 3 months before your AOS extension expires.

There is no point to wait for them slow pokes to passive-aggressively to screw you around by no update no contact and no care what-so-ever.

No, you won't be notified. Mine was approved exactly one day after the nine months mark of my NOA date. Two weeks prior to that, I called and was told that USCIS was processing April 4th fliers. I spoke to a Level two Officer, who said the same thing. Up until now, my timeline under USCIS site says initial review. I am sure if I call them now, I will hear how they are still processing April 4th, and how I need to wait...They key is to make sure you ask to speak to a level two Officer, and after he tells you that April 4th is currently being processed, ask to open a service request. It seems like the Level two Officer sends a nudge down the line to the sleepy-heads, who will finally awaken, and process your submission.
