My fiancé finally got her interview date at the Bogota embassy. Does any one who has obtained the K1 visa in Bogota share how long after the interview does it take for the embassy to deliver the passport/visa to her? Thanks

It depends, if she chooses to have her visa delivered to an address in Bogotá then it takes between 2-3 business days after the interview. If it has to be delivered outside of Bogotá, then it takes approximately 6-10 business days.

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
