I think, you should have at least stamp from your country's foreign minister ( country the document obtained from, to certify it is a valid document ). I have two stamps on the back of each document I obtained from my country, stamped on by my country's foreign minister.

Me and my fiance putting together the I-129f. We have her birth certificate ready to photo copy but the I-129f instructions state you need the front and back. Her birth certificate is just 1 page, the front has all the details and the back is just blank. Is she missing something????

I called and asked about this, because it seemed so far fetched. However, you are to provide a copy of the front and back (even if it's blank), and you should label the copies (i.e. Front of Birth Certificate for ____________, etc.).

we copied the back of the birth certificate even though it was blank and we wrote at the top that - the back of the birth certificate is blank. we got approved with not RFEs. i would say - do as the instruction says.

No. Copy the back, write on the blank paper "copy of back of birth certificate" and include it. They do not KNOW it is blank unless you send a copy of it, if they do not have it you will get an RFE for a blank piece of paper. THAT would be stupid.

Follow the directions, RFEs and denials come from NOT following the directions

I completely agree. I couldn't have said it better. Way to go.:thumbs::D

Some countries put notations on the back side, so they want front and back of all. My (US) birth certificate was blank on the back too but they got get a nice copy of the fold lines.

Others have already stated it, but how do they know it is blank unless you copy it.

It is the same with your passport. My passport even has a few stickers on the covers that have benn put on by airport security over the years. When they ask for copy of passport they get ALL pages, even the blank ones and covers.

Much easier to send it all then deal with delays because they want more latter.

Would it not make more sense to photocopy the front then write on it that the back is blank. That way they will know it is blank without having to kill another tree! I can't believe there are people out there who are actually photocopying a blank piece of paper! :wow:

The pages are not blank they have numbers on them. They probably want to see all the pages in sequence to see what countries you have visited.

The point is that they want to see it for themselves. As I mentioned, in some countries, they add notes to the back side (regarding previous marriages, divorces, etc.) and USCIS isn't going to take your word for it that the back is blank.
