Yes. We submitted only last year's return on our I-864 (mine) to NVC. We're bringing the previous two years before that to the interview, just in case.

(She's from Taiwan but we both reside, filing and interviewing in Canada).

Please take into account the poster is NOT interviewing in Canada she is applying for adjustment of status in the USA. Your advice is incorrect for her situation.

Courtney - we included 3 years of IRS tax transcripts instead of all pages of tax return because hubster lost some of the pages.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Interesting. So is another I-864 filed when applying for AOS after the two years has passed?

Thanks.

No. She entered on a K-1 please read the timelines and guides.

You need to be careful when giving advice people are at all different stages and doing different visas processes/adjustment processes.

You are being confused by different processes for completely different things. There is no 864 after 2 years you are talking about removal of conditions.

The original poster is processing adjustment of status from a K-1.

Are you eligible for the 864EZ? Check out the instructions for more information: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864ez.pdf

The form also says:

You must provide either an IRS transcript or a photocopy

from your own records of your Federal individual income tax

return for the most recent tax year. If you believe additional

returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain

sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies

of your Federal individual income tax returns for the 3 most

recent years

We only used 1 year's returns throughout the process. We were well above the poverty line though and also provided assets, so we were in a very solid financial state and didn't feel it necessary for all 3 years. Every situation is different.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

Sorry, but i will use the same topic to post my question:

How do you fill up the question on this I-864 form?.. e.i Part1 what should we sign since I`m his fiancee. does it count as a relative[/b] already?

What number is that they ask on Part2 "Alien Registration Number" ..

I`m confuse because i thought I would send this form only on AOS, not now applying for k1. Thanks for helping. My interview is going to be in Montreal.

You are filling out the wrong form. You are to fill out a I-134 for the K-1 process. The OP is doing AOS.
