Now, I am getting really nervous! I hope, this has nothing to do with it!!! My fiancee hasn't been to my country!

i dont actually think that is the reason.... i think there is more to this to be honest. im just really nervous all of a sudden because i thought the only thing i would be asked for is the affidavit of support as london dont seem to ask for proof of relationship anymore... and that is why i really wanna know the reason for this lol

OP - forgive me for posing this question, but given what seems to be the general consensus about the embassy in the UK, are you sure your fiance is on the level with you? You don't have to answer this question here or to anyone, and feel free to tell me to f-off, but at least consider there may be more here than meets your eye.

UK might not ask for proof of relationship but every case is unique. If it's out of the normal cases that the couple only see each other once every year through 3 years that could easily be the thing, adding that both of you not make enough money(so far that's what OP posted). As far as I know, they mostly concentrate on the affidavits at your embassy.

As far as ongoing relationship goes, skype call/chat logs, phone calls emails, any electronic correspondence you've had in between visiting. When visiting; hotel bills, ATM receipts(USC in your country). If it's possible, sworn statements from people around you having seen you together.

These are only suggestions, I'd wait up gathering it until you know exactly the reasons, as others have said. But keep it in the back of your head so you're ready to respond when needed. I'm sorry the interview didn't go well.

I am nervous now as i got interview on 23rd jan, london embassy. we are from same ethnic background. we were formally engaged last year feb. our families came and like you we have her brother as co sponsor. she visited again two months ago with family and my parents went to USA to visit them..all i got is engagement pics from first trip and few photos from second trip. we never did msn that much, few emails. we always used viber on iPhone and it doesn't save any logs.. all we have is whatsapp logs..

Sorry to hear the interview didn't go well.

As has already been said every case in unique, however it has made me think though that maybe I was beginning to get complacent about my London interview, given what I have read about previous experiences there.

Personally I have taken this as a wake-up call.

Good luck OP

Sorry for the inconvenience, however it is imperative to have full information about your situation. Personally, my K1 visa was approved in London despite the fact that my wife did not earn much. Also, I would consider London consulate to be very fair because it is one of the easiest. Could you ask your fiance(e)

1. The outcome of his medicals ?

2. The outcome of his police certificate ?

3. Did he/she submitted I 134 ?

I know that London consulate take these factors seriously. From my point of view, he/she needs to disclose more information than what is on hand. I wish you the best !!!

I hate to say this but maybe your fiance seemed less than estatic about the prospect of leaving his life behind there? Perhaps they were reading his body language and it seemed to them that he was getting cold feet. Sometimes there are questions as to how they feel about leaving everything behind there?

Doubtful to me that it is because he has never been to the US my husband was never to the US prior to his coming in November on our K1 visa.

people. remain calm.

the OP has give VERY LITTLE information about the situation.

the embassy in london is pretty simple to get a visa from if:

a. you qualify for one

b. you have a bona fide relationship

c. you have your evidence in order

to me, it sounds like this denial was precipitated by poor preparation. the OP does not give me the sense the she or her fiance were well-versed in the process. and i am sorry for that.

here is what would be great:

if the OP still wants help, post one post with all information that is pertinent (this maybe more broad-reaching than you think. so if youre comfortable enough to share info and allow VJers to respond with informed comments.)

to people worried about their own interview, do as dan mentioned above. take this as a reminder to be vigilant in your process. if you read the k1 guides here and do the work to collect your evidence, and you have a real relationship, you will most likely be just fine! the embassy has seen it ALL. unless you have something that is a red flag, you will sail through, again, IF youre prepared.

much luck to all, though luck isnt really a factor in this process.

There are people who live in countries, such as Belarus where my wife is from, where it is almost impossible to visit the US. I highly doubt, even if he is from the UK, that not visiting the US would be a reason for denial. Further, three visits in 3 years should be just fine. How many VJer's have gone to the Phils, once, for a week or so, and had no problem in getting their fiance a visa and that is a high fraud country. And if support was the big issue, having a co-sponsor that passed muster at the NVC, but not at the embassy level should still not result in a denial.

Something else is going on, IMHO.

its a K-1 so NVC have nothing to do with the I-134... but according to the OP. the CO did seem more concerned about the I-134 than anything else... but then asked for more relationship proof... and then from a later post it seems that it is undergoing AP... i think your last statement is correct.

i think mr and mrs (i used to love that show lol) got it right... everything needs putting in one post
