Greetings,

This morning i check the status and i got a RFE. i am so lost now. The website did not include what is the additional evidence they need from us and it is in the notice they mailed us, which probably will take several days. Please help me people, i am lost now

When you will get the notice it will include what additional evidence you need to send. There is nothing to be lost about everything will be explained in the notice.

If there any other way i could know what it is in the notice? if my wife calls USCIS won t they tell her what we need to submit as additional evidence. What makes me lost it is because my wife is currently pregnant of 3 months and she is having some complicatiions during the pregnancy. We requested an expedite and submitted supporting documents. Lastly officer MINA called my wife and told her to have her doctor sent a formal letter instead of a simple note. We have her hospital faxed her medical information to the Officer. I was not expecting to have a RFE based on the way that the officer was talking to my wife over the phone.

You will get your notice within several days. The call center don't have this information. You have to understand when officer talked to your wife he only looked at the expedite request and not into your file. Seems like they looked into your file and found out that some information is missing. While I understand it is frustrating, you will have to wait for the notice. The US mail is not bad and you will get it in a matter of days.

The RFE notice will arrive shorty. It will include what USCIS is requesting. All is not lost just the cost just time to complete the items, hang in there.

When you get the RFE notice supply the documents requested including the original RFE notice with it and overnight them with confirmation of delivery so you know when they got them.... Make copies of what your submitting to them including the RFE notice so that you have copies of the extra docs in your file.

I hope everything is ok with your wife. I've been there with the pregnancy thing.. it's not easy my heart goes out to you and hopefully you can get this taken care of ASAP and be together soon.

Unless you heard it was denied i would think it would be considered. We requested expedite for my husband after 4 months in USCIS.. due to violence in karachi and we received notice it was approved for expedite a few days later and our petition was approved within 3 weeks after.

1) i was fiance with a US citizen before in 2009. I have her canceled the case because she was cheating on me.SO i asked her to Call USCIS and cancel the case. Do you think USCIS now could need more proof that this past relationship is really broken up?

2) The pastor that celebrated our marriage, made mistakes in my wife father and mother's name,do you think think this could be a reason of RFE?

i guess it was good but we're still in AP almost 7 months after.. blahhh... :bonk:

your RFE could be anything.. and i mean anything its very difficult to say.. it may be the things listed and it may be something totally different. You need to keep watching for it and if you don't see it within two weeks call USCIS and see if they can resend or email (don't know if they would email it but they might) We never got an RFE so my advise is just to sit tight and look for it and respond ASAP.

Really why on on AP that long?

Most Mena countries have mandatory AP. For some people it takes several weeks while others takes monthes. I believe the longest one I heard was 2 years.

It is hard to say how much longer after you reply to RFE. If your expedite is approved hopefully it will not be long after that. Also one more thing USCIS Expedite doesn't give you NVC expedite. So you will have to request it again at NVC stage.
