Yay! :dance: :dance: :dance: Congrats, Nich-Nick!

So had my interview yesterday. Only waited 10 minutes past my interview time. Went fairly smoothly, I mentioned I had a 13 week old and she spent most of the time talking about her kids and parenting style. Only waited 10 minutes past my interview time.

Only hiccup was on my selective service registration. I had to go back and drop off a statement saying that I was over 26 when I entered the US and therefore did not sign up for selective service. I saw the same officer this morning when I dropped it off. It was a good thing too as she forgot to give me back my drivers licence when I left yesterday. She said I should receive my oath either in June or July. I already got an email saying the have received my additional evidence. So it is finally over. Thank goodness. Good luck to everyone else.

2. When was the constitution written?

3. What ocean is on the East Coast?

4. Name one state that boarders Canada?

5. What does Freedom of Religion mean?

I finally got that precious little bit of paper back that I kissed goodbye to back on April 17. Today I opened my mailbox and found that my naturalization certificate had returned back to me. So I am finally all done. US passport & CoN are now safely in my hands. :thumbs: So happy to have it all finished.

I will be sticking around to see the rest of the January filers through. You guys are great and have so much patience. If you are sill waiting, hang on in there. I know there's not much we can do to help how you feel, but we're here for you are hoping things go smoothly and quickly for the last stretch of your visajourney!

i had my oath last thursday at shreveport louisiana with 21 newly american citizens from 14 countries. i will be applying for a passport tomorrow. good luck everyone. :)

1/17/12- mailed packet

Biometrics-- waived

4/25/12- interview- passed & took my oath the same day!!-- US Citizen!!!

My N400 Journey took 3months & 8days!:)

My status updated - we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. :)

Adjustment of Status

July 13, 2012: Sent package to Chicago

July 16, 2012: Delivered

July 27, 2012: Checked cashed

July 30, 2012: NOA for I-485,I-131,I-765

August 02, 2012: Biometrics appointment for (08/27)

August 27, 2012: Biometrics Done ..

September 13, 2012: Interview Notice Received (10/18/2012)

September 18, 2012: Card production ordered for EAD&AP

September 26, 2012: Received EAD.

October 18, 2012: Approved on spot

October 27, 2012: Received GC in mail.

I am in Los Angeles just seeing if anybody is in the same boat as me. I never received my biometrics, when I called uscis I was told that they will be using my biometrics from last year when conditions were removed from my GC. Its been 6 weeks still waiting to be scheduled for interview?

Jan 24 2012 , Received Receipt #

March 6 ,2012 Received Yellow Letter

April 9,2012 I was placed in line for interview scheduling.

May 26 2012 Still waiting for interview letter
