I am in ciudad juarez now and my husbands interview is on wednesday morning. I read on www.immigrantvisas.state.gov the night before we flew here that translated documents need to be notarized. We were not aware of this and are feeling pretty scared and not sure what to do. Does anyone have any advice or have experience at the consulate to know if this is something serious? I have read on here that u don't need the notary. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Don't worried about that the consular officer can notarized for your at their office. If you have a chance to be with you to the interview then they don't need the notarized if the document are translated by you.
