Can someone, PLEASE verify for me the wait time after package 3 is sent out. I just came across a posting on here that stated it is a minimum of 4-6 months after they receive pckg. 3 until your interview and then up to 3 months before you receive your visa for POE??????? Any info would be appreciated.

After you send packet 3. Call DOS a week or so later to see if it has been logged and packet 4 sent. If it has been logged ask if you are eligible for an interview. You do not have to wait for physical packet 4 to arrive in the mail to book your interview. It can be months away before an interview or it can be a few weeks. Remember when booking that you need to have your medical done before your interview so schedule accordingly. After your interview it usually takes about a week to get your visa back via DHL, unless of course you get placed in AP, then it can be much longer. Once you get your visa back through DHL you can do your POE. If when you schedule your interview and it is months away you can keep checking for new dates to open up, as that happens a lot.

That's pretty much the whole process...hurry up and wait. I hope that you get an interview date not far off. :D
