My husband and i met on a music forum. We actually knew each other for a couple of years before it got really serious. I remember when i went for my visa interview the interviewer asked how we met and when i told him he said 'oh really? most people seem to meet on world of warcraft' lol

Yep :P We met on Warcraft :P

**Edit - I remember in year 11 (2000) a girl I went to school with just up and left school and moved to the other side of the country to live with some dude she met online. I remember thinking she was a real freak going to see someone she didn't really know.. she's married with at least 2 kids so I guess it worked :P

We met while I was working over seas. We dated for about half a year before my contract was up. After that we kept it up on Skype and phone calls.

Met in Feb 2009 while I was working overseas.

Started dating almost 1 year to the date that we met in Feb of 2010.

Returned to the US in Sep 2010 :(

The other side of the country? When i was younger i thought the other side of the country was so far away. I see the error in my thinking now. It's so close compared to here.

I really never gave much thought to long distance relationships before i fell in love with Travis. honestly, falling in love with an American and moving overseas is probably one of the last things i ever would have thought would happen to me, lol

02/09/12 Received email saying EAD card has been sent

02/13/12 Received EAD card :D :D :D :D

03/06/12 Interview in Phoenix :).....Approved :D

03/14/12 Received Green card in mail.....

....no more USCIS until December 2013

Went on vacation to see my friend who lives in Costa Rica. My friend threw at a holiday party and Fresy was there.

Knew by the end of the party I wanted to be with Fresy. The rest is history!

We met on Tagged.com. Strangely, I wasn't looking for a relationship. Just wanted to have fun & NOT sexual fun. Lol. I just wasn't interested in a relationship. I had dated a BIG LOSER & I dont mean by weight loss so I had no intentions of meeting MY HUSBAND! What's even more weird is he is not even a social network kinda guy. A friend of his introduced him to the site and helped him create a profile. He sent me a message and I was thinking hmmmm......he is way in Cameroon? Where da heck is that? Lol. But sure I can hold conversation with him, he's obviously miles away so no harm, right?

Well, my HUSBAND completely stopped my "fun" on Tagged.com. I had no more interest in anybody on the site, locally, or even flirting. My mind was in another place....CAMEROON!! A country in which I had obviously never heard of! Lol.

Now, like most, we are starting our journey for him to come to America. I'm excited about it and my church family is as well! :)

I watched my coworker marriage video from Vietnam and saw my future wife preparing the food. Inquired about her and found out she was widower. The rest is history. good.gif
