So I mailed out my RFE via Priority Mail on Tuesday to the Vermont Service Center. According to USPS tracking info it was delivered this morning at 10am. What can i expect now that they received the RFE? How long does it usually take to finish processing?

I-130

04/05/2013- Filed I-130 through USPS

04/08/2013- USPS confirmed delivery

04/10/2013- USCIS text(priority date 04/08/13)

04/11/2013-"Touched"

04/15/2013- NOA 1: Hardcopy Received: Transferred to USCIS NBC

11/15/2013- Case transferred to another office?

11/18/2013- Case transferred to TSC

11/30/2013- Email for RFE

12/07/2013- RFE Reply Recieved

01/13/2014- NOA 2: APPROVED

01/18/2014- Hard-Copy NOA 2 received

Usually 2-4 weeks, the goal is no RFE's, this is not a criticism. We had ours also, delays caused by attorney. Read and reread before sending. Maybe Canada will be faster ours was 7 months.

RFEs were, in the past, processed in 1-2 weeks. When we got our RFE and sent it back it took VSC about a month to get to it and approve our petition. They ask that you give them 60 days to respond to your RFE. If it goes on longer than 60 days, you'll have to start calling. They refused to issue any information on our RFE until our 60 days were up.

Yes, I read the above. Our RFE took about 2 weeks. And Approved. But, each Request For Evidence Varies from Case to Case and what it is they wish for a Reply from to Approve Your NOA2.

Some Members can tell you this. It all varies from : What it is there looking for. Some are simple and others can be complicated.
