hi everybody! I'm new here in VJ! i just want help about our case. My fiance in the states file K1 visa last july 2011 and submitted I-129f form and my birth certificate and also the payment. After few days received NOA1 and a receipt number. months past by and only to find out to my co-worker, who filed the same k1 visa that we submitted an incomplete package. What my fiance did he submitted the package this december and noted in the cover letter the receipt number that we received last july. im worried cause we had waited for 5 months already and no NOA2 yet. are we going to start again and wait for another 5 months to get the NOA2? hope to hear a response! :help:

so you filed the I-129F in July but then realised that you hadnt submitted a complete package... so you then sent in the extra information in December??

if your lucky then USCIS will get the extra information that you sent in and add it to your file and you could be approved quite soon.

if your unlucky then USCIS will send you a "request for evidence" asking you to send in the extra information again and that could add a month or so on to your approval time.

if your very unlucky you will be denied for lack of evidence and have to start all over again.
