Struggles and Promises

Hello Everyone!

I know that it is the holidays and many of us are without our spouses, mates, friends, and partners. It is frustrating to receive such a letter stating that your love is fraudulent even with pictures and letters from both sides of the family. A friend of mine just revealed to me that her neighbor is married to a guy that lives in another country and she is dating her ex-husband while her foreign husband is oversea. Now, I can understand how the American government are doing their job to protect American people, but they need to improve their processing techniques because too many fraudulent couples are roaming the street of USA while those who are in real love relationships biting teddy bears with tear soaked faces.

I just want to encourage everyone that without struggles and promises there isn't a goal to obtain. Patience and determination is what getting through. It is hard at times because you want to share some special moments with your spouses/partners, but know that if you really believe that God brought together no man can break apart, you will surely reunite with your spouse/partner, but you have to believe that no man can come between you and yours. Amen.

I am not a religious person but I am very in-tuned with my spirituality and believe that we hold the power of positive confession which can unlock any doors and break down hurdles. I just wanted to give you guys some encouragement and positive support. I understand wholeheartedly and I don't regret anything I did relating to my experience minus political incompetencies.

Have a great day and happy season greetings! [/size]

You don't even regret biting a harmless teddybear ?

No, because it wasn't me that bit the teddy bear however, some of my friends have. It was sad to watch their agony and depression.

I agree that there are many fake couples but they are making it harder for REAL COUPLES. I like the quote! I think we all should have a shirt that say Just because you ere scammed by fake couples, don't take it out on the real couples! Not the best quote, but you get my point!

I want to add that it doesn't matter how long you have know your spouse/partner, it has a lot to do with the Creator above because I have known my husband's brother for many years through the church. He would always invite me to church although I am not religious, but I will go fellowship and take the spiritual experience from it.

My husband was in America on a student visa and went back home because some of his family members were brutally murdered in his home country. He asked me to come with him then and I couldn't because of work. We eventually gotten back together and dated for a year and half before my husband proposed to me. We married a year later because we wanted to make sure all the family members were able to attend the wedding. It was magical and entertaining!

The reason I shared the information above, to let you all know that time has nothing to do with how successful your interview/experience would be. We have YEARS of evidence including a house we shared together yet we were told that we know nothing of each other. Wow. :bonk: Let me also add that I am much younger than my husband and he prefer to raise his children in Nigeria with my agreement. I even shown pictures of both families in America having a BBQ and baby shower. (I will planning another baby shower for my in-law in a few months)

I know some people are wondering why go through the immigration process, because I am an American and my families are in America, I would like to visit my families during holidays/vacations without my husband having to deal with the embassy to get an American tourist visa. Unfortunately for non-American citizens to obtain tourist visa is the same as acquiring an entry visa. It doesn't make sense to me but it is their procedure. :bonk:

I love what you posted, "you really believe that God brought together no man can break apart, you will surely reunite with your spouse/partner, but you have to believe that no man can come between you and yours."

I have a lot of faith in God and believe that he brings people together for a reason.

Wishing you the very best of luck and Happy Holidays.

I thank you so much for posting this statement. This experience has been a struggle. We have our interview on the 24th of Janjuary and I am so nervouse that the interviewer will only see our age difference and not our love for one another. We were denied a fiance visa in 2010 and I returned in February to marry him in Ghana. I have gathered everything I can gather to prove how much we love one another and want to be together. I keep having this bad dream that the CO will look at the telephone calls that date back to 2008 and some how not beleive our petition. Although I can count on one hand the days we have not spoken to one another since 2008. Or maybe the years of emails, the pictures from my two trips to Ghana, or the letters from family and friends are all not enough. All I have to rest on is my faith in God and my assurance that God is in control of all things. I cant help to think that if USCIS wants to stop people who want to enter into fraudulent marriages they should start with Hollywood or if that is too many for them to handle just work with the Kardashians. Sorry my sense of humor is all I have left.

It is very upsetting when Consulates claim they are looking out for the American people while at the same time approving fraudulent couples. I am sure there are real couples on Visa Journey and I am deeply sorry for your frustrations and agony because no one should be away from their husband or wife at any given time.

It seems to me that those who are not married seems to get a free pass than those who chose to get married without filing a visa. If I sound harsh I do apologize because that isn't my intention but it is the truth. For the real couples, you should never feel guilty for marrying someone that isn't in your country because love has no boundaries.

God is in control and always on time. It is hard for us to grasp the concept because we are flawed humans however determination, faith, and positive thinking will get us very far.

I encourage everyone to share with the consulates, USCIS, and their leaders that nothing should come between you and your spouse and express to them how would they feel if someone didn't believe their marriage or relationship isn't bonafide?

My only complaint with USCIS/Embassy is that they do not have a great deal of sensitivity otherwise they wouldn't ask petitioners dumb and offensive questions. People need to remember that petitioners have feelings too.

I wish you the very best and just remain positive bcause misery loves company.
