Please don't worry. Your I-130 petition is just the beginning stages of the visa process. When it's time for your interview, this is the time to bring in all of your evidence to prove that you're in a bona fide marriage. If USCIS needs additional information to prove your relationship is genuine, they will send you a Request For Evidence (RFE).

To take your mind off of your I-130 petition, start preparing the documentation that is needed at the NVC stage.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the holidays. All will be good. Good luck.

No problem. :D Here is a great guide that provides step-by-step instructions for the NVC process and the forms that are needed: LingChe NVC Short Cut

I used this guide and the NVC stage went by smoothly without any RFEs. At the NVC stage, you have to provide original documents whereas USCIS only requires copies. NVC schedules your interview once the case is completed. Once the NVC stage is completed and you have your interview letter, you will need to schedule your medical appointment. Here is the link for the list of accredited panel physicians in Lebanon: Medical Examination. In Lebanon, the medical is good for 1 year. You will also need to obtain your police report. Police reports are good for 6 months.

Anything in Arabic must be translated.

The US Embassy in Lebanon also requires your individual and family (only you and your spouse) extracts which also need to be translated. These are only valid for 3 months. NVC does not need the extracts...the embassy will as you for them at your interview.

As far as the expiration dates of the documents I mentioned, this is specific for Lebanon. Always double check as things may change. Print out the LingChe NVC ShortCut guide and start reading it over and over again. You will understand the process.

I hope that helps. Wishing you the best of luck.

USCIS doesn't approve or deny visas and they play no part in the decision on whether or not a visa will be issued. Visa decisions (approval or denial) is the exclusive purview of the State Department, specifically the Consular Official who is reviewing the visa application and file and conducting the interview of the applicant.
