I got an email today at 1:00 pm PST => "On June 28, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. "

Congratulations to all California applicants! I wish Vermont was a fast... But we still got a couple of more months to go. Anyhow, I am traveling to Cancun Mexico on Tuesday, I hope they don't give me any issues returning into the US I do have a valid passport and Letter of extension and expired GC hopefully this suffice. Also anyone nows if we can apply for citizenship upon our 2yeaea 9 months of being a resident... I mean I have travel at least 2 months since being a resident, will this means that I can only apply at 2/11 months?

I think you are fine applying for citizenship at the normal time. I believe you have to stay out much longer than 2 months for it to be an issue. I don´t remember exactly, but it seems like it is 6 months or more that causes a problem. I believe the instructions are in the guide for Naturalization here on VJ. Have a good trip!

I received approval letter a couple of days ago with the approval date as 6/25/12. Could someone kindly update for me? Thanks!!!! :thumbs:
