hey dear do you think language can affect the interview, do let me know too but I will go for english because they may get confused after holding degrees and being in professional life for many years and having many international trips and still cant speak in english, i am just thinking about those facts thats why english is prefered . i guess so , what do you thnk????

The interviewer for my wife started speaking to her in Urdu and at first she would respond in english but he kept talking Urdu so she changed to Urdu. Also female AP apparently my wife is the exception to females not being placed in AP. going on 7 months of AP Now. CR-1. Inshallah Allah will help all of us waiting to be with our loved ones.

The only time language really affects the interview is if you don't speak english but married a USC who doesnt speak URDU and they can't see how you can communicate with eachother..

While I speak a small amount of Urdu my husbands english is fluent so he took his interview in english.

I have understood that using an interpreter can cause confusion because they stop and start and it can be confusing so if you are comfortable doing your interview in english that should be fine :) Best of luck to you!!!!

My wife's interview was a day after yours. Do you know remember if they asked for any additional documents? They told my wife after the first interview they need additional proof of marriage. The reason why I am asking is because there are not many cases of females being on AP.

If you look recently there are more females going into AP this past year but they seem to be resolved quicker than the men

Number of visits are great but it doesn't always show a genuine marriage

I can't go visit my husband this year due to my daughters serious health issues and any moment she can have a stroke or brain damage or death due to the tumor on her optic nerve but that doesn't mean we aren't genuine because we are VERY REAL for us it simply means we put our daughters health first

There are many variables to AP and because each case is so different we may never know we only got lucky that our co told us he had to go thru name checks but at this point I do think they could have been completed unless he had a name hit

It's simply a black abyss that we won't see the end of it until it gets here

Just keep praying and stay strong it's all we can do

After sending my passport to embassy i got this email from embassy

Dear Applicant,

Our records indicates that, this case is pending for adminstrative processing. On an average, this processing can take from two weeks to six months to complete and in some cases even longer than this. While the admin processing is being done, it is not possible to predict as to when this would complete. While the admin processing is pending, our office would only contact an applicant if additional information is needed from the applicant to complete the admin processing.

Once our office has respond to an inquiry on a visa application pending for amdin processing, the next inquiry would not be responded for the nex 90 days, unless there is a change in the case status. It is assured that as soon as the admin processing has completed, Immigrant Visa Unit will contact the applicant for the final processing of the visa application.

Yours truly,

 Maybe they are just making sure you didnt travel out of the country during the time you had the passsport back???? I doubt it will take long to clear whatever they are doing.... ive heard that sometimes when you submit the passport before the visa is printed they run a quick check again.... lets see what happens... dont let this get you down... think positive :)

You shouldn't submit anything unless they ask for it but to be sure about this you can email or call the embassy

I was unable to plan a trip before her interview due to my studies. However after graduating, I was able to go back and stay in Pakistan for little over a month. During my time there I called the embassy and informed them that I was in the country. I also stated to the embassy representative that if they need to come in I can do so. They stayed that they have all the documents they need and there is no reason for me to come in. I don't understand how they have everything they need why is it taking so long. The only issue with our case was proof of relationship.
