On Saturday my husband submitted his new medical and police certificate to the Embassy in Riyadh in person. They told him he should get his passport back in 10 days.

I called DOS this morning. They said looks like the embassy is ready to issue the visa. The visa has not been issued yet though. Call us back in about 3 days to check if visa has been issued yet.

I am keeping my fingers crossed. I hope AP is finally over.

I wont be releived until hubby has the visa in hand. I will call DOS again tomorrow.

Hi,my wife us citizen.case cr1/Ir1.visa interview on 30th jan 2012.co said I'm pretty satisfied and u will get visa but at this time we do mandatory process.no red flags.she said it may take 6 to 12 week.give me 221g, green colour and said u can contect us after 8 weeks , so I'm also in ap from Islamabad.male, Muslim, hi to all members

Welcome!!!! We too were told our case was fine but had mandatory AP.. just take a day at a time and hopefully yours won't be too long of a wait...

Alhamdulillah with the mercy of Allah my husband's visa has been issued.

I called DOS about 10 minutes back. The lady told me congratulations your visa has been issued on March 4th, 2012. I asked her again are you sure? She said yes and wished me good luck.

Waiting for passport to arrive through DHL. I can't beleive AP is over. We spent 11 months in AR/AP. 4 months in AR followed by 7 months in AP.

I hope all of you see an end to your AP soon.

Am waiting for visa from last 2Month's but there is no news.

Hope soon i will get a visa only now hope ..

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS
