Has anyone received their visa in this month? I have been in AP since Feb,2012. Yes, 15th months in AP.

Hello Everyone.

I have good news after a long time. My husband got his visa. We are so relieved.

Visajourney is a very good site to get help and in a way to help others.

I have filled my timeline. You can go and look at it.I have entered every step there. I think if we all fill up our timeline, that is a great help for others.

My husband had his interview on 9/9/2011. And it took almost 20 months for him to get visa. But we don't and never will, find out why it took so long.

It has been 2 full weeks sense my husband sent his birth certificate to the embassy by SpeedEx. They are showing his package was delivered April 3rd to the embassy. The embassy emailed me and said they have no record of the birth certificate but to give it 3 or 4 more weeks to show up in their system.

They are crazy! In 4 weeks my husband could have his visa. On Monday my husband will send his birth certificate again along with a cover letter. I am praying this time it will not get lost in the mail room.

ask him to send it via american express courier service. if in karachi, they are located in shaheen complex.

My wife had her interview in feb 2012 as well for CR1, and shes female.. yet no visa till date! so 15 months of AP for her as well.

wow. thats a long time. my wife sent her documents and they showed up as received in 2.5 weeks. i guess she got lucky mashaAllah.
