HI, I am actually a September filer. I know there is a long time for my NOA2. After reading through the website, I think I might get an RFE and I think I know for what reasons. Is it a good idea that I send CSC those evidances and other documents in advance and not wait for the RFE or NOA2? Or I am totally shooting myself in the foot or in head? Any ideas. Thank you all.

If you filed in Sep, then I assume, it has been around 3 months time. If you got no RFE, then dont send anything unless they ask.

My I-130 Case was closed in less than 4 months. So guess, your case could be closing anytime soon.

There is Nothing you can do at this point. You can't add to a 129-F once it is Filed. However, I see you received your NOA1. Just what Evidences did you leave out? That will determine a "posible RFE". What did you leave out and members can add. Is the is K-1 or CR1?

Don't even bother sending anything they will send it back to you.I sent an additional page after I had submitted my initial I-129F and they returned it with a generic letter.

I guess I am overthinking as said. Here is what I think I messed up.

1. Outdated (by 2 months) I129-F form

2. Spelling mistake on the Intent to Marry letter (not with the names)

3. SInged I-129F formm in black (This may come back and bite....grr.......ouch.)

4. Only sent 1 page of Phone record for every month instead of all the records.

Sometimes when people are waiting for something to happen they start to over-think things. OP just wait and see if you get an RFE and then go from there.

Yup... I did that, then relaxed after about a month......

If I get an RFE I will deal with it then.

At this point you only need to show having met within the last two years. Ongoing evidence of a relationship is for later ~

This was happened to us. My fiance found out after he submitted the K-1 petition that he forgot to include his divorce decree. He was really worried, so what he did, he called the USCIS and ask if he can send the lacking document(divorce decree) and they said yes its Ok to send it. So my fiance mailed it right away the following day. And luckily, no RFE for us. Got NOA2 Nov. 30th. :) I am not sure if they still allow it coz it's been 3 months now since u submitted the petition.

1. It is a common mistake to send an Outdated I-129-F . They sent your NOA1. I don't see a problem. (Unless they get PICKY)

2. Mistake on the Correct spelling of her name on The Letter of Intent. They have that information on her 325-A. I don't see a problem. You can submit a new Letter of Intent if a RFE arrises or provide at her interview. (Yes that was a mistake but they maynot consider the error)

3. Black Ink is Fine. As long as you sent the Original and dated it.

4. The 129-F is a basic Petition which simply asks a few pictures and proof of a relationship. (How you met, ETC)

YOU HAVE YOUR NOA1 and Approved. Everything you wrote is not serious. It could be worse.

You are going to have to wait and see. BIGGER MISTAKES HAVE BEEN MADE WITHOUT A RFE.

I just sent in my I-129F submission on Saturday, checked the FedEx website and saw it was delivered and signed for this morning. As I was jumping for joy and using my work's high-duty scanner to send everything to my fiance, I just realized... our letters of intent weren't dated! We seriously went through everything at least 10 times! I'm thinking this is RFE-worthy? :bonk:

That is a High Posibility. That, they get Picky about. Hopefully you are granted a NOA1. (Keep in mind, this could be a RFE later)

The Op's Topic is: Can I add to the 129-F after already sent. That answer is No.

So, after this thread, I was super worried about not receiving an NOA1 since my letters of intent weren't dated (although, they were signed in black ink)... Thankfully, I received my NOA1 via email this morning! :D:dance:

I'm expecting an RFE though because of this and I'm so mad at myself for missing such an easy/obvious thing. It's probably because I spent so much time getting together all the proper evidence of relationship/meeting in person and looked over a tiny detail. Oh well... if it is RFE-worthy and all I have to do is resend dated letters of intent, I'll be OK with that. At this point, I'm just happy about getting a case number and not having to resubmit everything!
