Hi everyone! I noticed a lot of Dec 9th 2011 USEM Manila interviewees posted their respective visa approvals. Congratulations to all of us! I made this thread so that we can keep in touch with each other re visa tracking, delivery and acceptance. One business day had elapsed and I must say I'm on pins and needles, can't wait to have my visa in hand! Hehe! I hope hearing great updates to my fellow interviewees soon. Keeping my fingers crossed for what this week has to offer us. BTW, I'm from Laguna and a CR1 visa applicant. :)

Hello! I added you up as a friend here in VJ, hope its okay with you. Awe! It would be the best Christmas gift ever right? I hope your wife and daughter will spend the holidays with you. You see my hubby already booked our ticket even if I still don't have my visa in hand yet. :bonk: He's just too excited! LOL! But yeah, no christmas and new years celebration together for us. He's comin over here in PI, stay a few days, then will return to the US together. Our flight is scheduled mid-january! :)

Congratulations! Ditto, I don't have any idea how we gonna track our visas. Hmmm! I tried my MNL case number in the 2go tracking system but says invalid. Most prolly coz only one business day had elapsed and the visa was not even printed yet. LOL! I tried researching here in VJ and came across with some previous posts. One post stated to call 3012000 ext 5184 or 5185 before 8am - after 8am, it'll be difficult to get through (posted jan 2011). Not sure if its still reliable. I haven't called that number though. It also says that they can tell you if the visa was not yet printed, already printed, or was already in the courier and are about to be delivered.

Anyway, I was just wonderin, can you still remember the number on the sticker that was put in the back of your son's passport? The same numbered sticker was also put in our 2go delivery form. Unfortunately, I can't recall mine. I was just thinking, can that be the tracking number? :reading:

I'm beginning to think the tracking number is useless. The tracking number doesn't help to track your case from the consular officer's desk to the caseworker's desk to the printing room to the mail room...and this is the part of the process that takes all of the time. And when 2GO finally gets your visa packet, and the tracking number comes into play, 2GO texts you that they are going to deliver your visa packet the very next day.

If true, then that leaves you with calling the Embassy if you want to find out about the progress of your visa. You have the correct phone number for the Immigrant Visa Unit. However, it's difficult to get ahold of them because they are so busy. If you are having trouble getting ahold of them, you might try calling them between 7-8 am or between 1-2 pm Manila time when they are less busy. Also, it used to be that if you got their answering machine, you could punch 0 to automatically redial.

Good luck everyone...believe me...I know the waiting is torture! :clock::girlwerewolf2xn:

But it's worth it. :luv:

Well, we have tracking (using the MNL Case Number) 2Go has Carlo's Visa! We expect to have in it hand within 24 hrs....

As Anna said earlier, his interview was Dec 9, looks like the CO was accurate with his quote of "2 days for processing and 1 day fro delivery"!

Wow! That was fast! :wow: Did you track using the e-trace option in 2go.com.ph website? I tried typing my MNL case number and says "invalid". BTW, do you reside in Manila area? I talked to the 2go delivery man (can you believe he's our neighbor?! Haha!), he told me most prolly he'll have my visa delivered by next week. How I wish it could be sooner though!

P.S. My flights already booked! Will be leavin mid-January next year. Thanks for updating us Bob 4 Anna! And again, congratulations!

Yes, we used e-Trace: http://2go.com.ph/CustomerSupport/etrace

Just put our MNL Case Number in and got the results!

UPDATE: As of right now our packet is out for delivery, 2go says it will be delivered by Noon local time. Anna is waiting at her Mom's home in Paniqui (Tarlac) for the Visa.
