RFE lost in mail

Hi all

on the 8th June got NOA1 - then on 15th Nov got RFE by email - waited for post - 2 december called as we had not recieved it. Then they said 15 days until it will be re-sent. Then today i got by email (see below)

Its taking forever to get anything! Is this just bad luck? Considering to get our first RFE its going to be over 7 months!

On December 7, 2011 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Thats weird, ask the reps on the phone if it can be faxed or emailed what ever is needed so that u can act quickly. ghee the uscis is a trip! arghh sorry. but just be in constant contact with them and you might just want to email the center yourself if it ever comes to it. vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov or csc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov to inquire....but since they did mention that you should receive it within 30 day you have to ride out that time :/ they wont act before that in most case.

Hey guys,

We have the same situation. We sent our application on 3 June, and were notified on 9 November that USCIS was sending us an RFE, which we never received. I called on 25 November, and they stated they would resend it. Then, on 5 December, we got an email that the card was produced and mailed to us, and that we should allow 30 days for delivery. Then, today (8 December) we received the RFE, which was indeed resent to us a second time (the first time they sent it to an old address, which is why we never received it). The RFE is requesting some vaccinations (I-693).

So now we are very confused. Do we or do we not need to fufill the RFE, since the green card is apparently on its way?
