We cannot get his military record only a reference number. I am panicking a bit now worried over this. Anyone have any experience with London and just a reference number for military record? It was on his paperwork I would assume if this was a problem they would have already told us?

6/22/2011 NOA 1 !!!!!!!
6/25/2011 NOA 1 Hardcopy Received in mail
10/13/2011 NOA 2 text and email @ 9:30pm EST (113 days from NOA 1)
10/17/2011 NOA 2 hardcopy received in mail.

11/01/2011 pkt 3 sent out (very expensive call to london to verify receipt and address change)

Why can you not get it?

Allan could not get his b/c due to his security clearance - he contacted his military liaison and that person sent the proper paperwork to the embassy for Allan. The liaison knew exactly what was needed and who to send it too - all he needed was Allan's LND number - it was there are ready to go for the interview. Perhaps this is a route you could take?

It is security clearance. The person we contacted sent us this reference number and said that is all they needed. We really dont' have time to do much else as his interview is Tuesday. I just have my fingers crossed this is not something major.

BTW - I was really freaked out about the military thing too - as I couldn't really find anybody else who didn't have discharge papers to bring with them or anything military related for that matter...but the embassy got his reference number and apparently that was okay :)
