I posted earlier... Now just got email and text. Saying has been updated. Looks like REF. I'm guessing because his passport had to be reissued bacause name spelled wrong. Have passport fixed and reissued however they don't have new copies. Please make processing fast. No hope for Christmas here... However I'll hang on to hope that will start new year off on a positive note.

I'm really sorry you got the dreaded RFE. I hope you can submit the new passport really quickly and get your NOA-2 soon.

<--- July filer. Waiting on RFE evidence. It requested 5 things. I have 3 of them already (had that ready since May!) Waiting on one of them to arrive from South America. Then that can be submitted and we will cross our fingers again.

Igor's list is only for CSC. Someone needs to make a list for VSC!!!!!!!!!

Mine too was July 25, and still waiting for the approval. We have the same date, hope we will receive the good news soon. I agree waiting is the hardest part of the visa.

I'm hoping that as soon as the USCIS site comes back up tomorrow soon us July filers without NOA-2's will have a pleasant surprise.

I was hoping we'd have a nice surprise when they came back up but no such luck for us. Still waiting along with a lot of others. I can't Imagine what the May and June filers who are still waiting feel like when they see someone from August get approved. Not that I'm jealous or anything... :whistle:

I just checked the site and no joy. STILL in initial review since July 15! 146 freakin days since NOA-1...

Sigh. Just can't catch a break.

Not just August filers being approved, several September filers have their NOA-2's in hand. If they're military expedites no problem, they're entitled to go before me, but if they're regular filers - just proves USCIS sucks! In a way, I'm glad there is no way to tell if a petition was expedited...
