I know Vancouver's Woking Clinic only does the medical one day a week (Wednesday) BUT they don't require as many forms and they give you your results the same day ready for pickup after 1.30. Oh and just a note. If you want to make sure you have your medical records when doing your AOS you can ask for a second sealed envelope for $30.00 and you must take an extra 3 photos.

Something to ponder.

When I went most people just brought their kids with them. I was there first thing (about 5.45am) and since you're taken in order I was out of there shortly after 8am and picked my test up at 1.30.

Anyway, I guess if you have your heart set on Montreal my advice doesn't mean much.

I believe she thought you were doing K1 not CR1. If you're interviewing in Montreal I believe you would have to do the medical first, and then interview. I know with the Vancouver consulate people who didn't have their results before the interview had to deliver their medical to the consulate. Not sure how this works for CR1/Montreal.

Medisys charges 50$ to courier the medical results to you. When I had gone in 2009 they said they do not courier to the USEM because of " chain of evidence handling" it causes the medical to be touched by too many people.

This may have changed since then and you should call them and ask them about that if you have not already.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The normal scheme of things would be to go to the medical and then the interview. Montreal is notorious for delays and if you get an RFE (if they'll even interview you without one) because you don't have your medical, it will add lots of time to the receipt of your Visa. In your case I would definitely go do your medical in Vancouver and then fly to Montreal for the interview after. You could even do it a week or two before the interview.

I am looking at having to stay in Montreal for a minimum of 4 days because I will have to have my medical and wait for the results before my interview in Montreal.

I would love to do my interview in Vancouver as well. Sure would save time and money!
