If you wanted to I hear they are open to bringing it forward even more. Mine is the 2nd and I was thrilled to get it, but now I wish I'd rang through and asked for this week instead :) Congratulations though on your pre festive date :)

Thank you all! We are happy with the 6th and will take it. He had to put in 30 days notice at work because he is management level so he can't come here till December 20th anyway. That will give the visa plenty of time to arrive.

Thank you all for all your support and help. Good luck to those who are waiting, it is hard but worth it.

~Tina

  • 2 weeks later...

We are both getting very nervous, Tuesday at 8:30am, it seems as if time is slowly ticking away. If there is one thing I have learned it is how strange it is to have two very large governments in charge of your life. I don't think we will sleep much Monday night. I just am worried I have missed something.

We have support papers and a co-sponsor (we really don't need)

Birth Certificates for every soul in our families lol

Interview letter

MRV reciept

ACPO police reports

renewed intent to marry letters

renewed proof of ongoing (I know we probably wont need, but we figure we will be the one in a million)

All paperwork from K1

The only concern I have is he only has a reference number for his military record, as he cannot get a hard copy. I am concerned about this.

Anything I have missed?

~Tina
