"schtupping" and "boinking" also are acceptable.

Happy birthday, MiniBone!

I have heard "balling," "boinking," and "bopping" but none of them mean sex. Boffing and schtuping I have never heard at all.

"Balling" is the act of being a "baller" according to the "baller" definition I explained earlier. "Boinking" and "bopping" are hitting someone or something with something, particularly something that is rubbery or bouncy.

Be careful who you listen to. As Eekee said, "banging" is the only one of those words understandable to someone born after 1980.

Thanks for the note.

No, I'm not going to use any of it anyway

And so, it's also true that anyone born before 1980 isn't going to know what "baller" means...like me for instance. Even you and eekee can't agree on "baller." She says "rich," you say it's some ghetto slang for making the big time. You youngsters need to get your sh!t straight.

The only word that never dies is "cool." That one is here to stay.

Happy Birthday Mini Bone. Don't kill the cat.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Happy Birthday Mini Bone. Don't kill the cat.
Gracias to each of you wish-wellers, si man. When I got home, of course Daffodil the Cat followed me upstairs and was again trapped when I shut the baby-gate. Because Mini-Bone is delighted with the cat (if he could talk, he'd say, "Mommy, I want THAT toy!"), and because he almost never catches her because he squeals anticipatorily beforehand, I corralled the cat and brought her to Mini-B., butt-first. M-B. grabbed the tail and squeezed it, absolutely squealing with joy. Fortunately, the cat seems to realize that she should be nice to her little brother, miu man.

Mrs. T-B. is hosting her "play group" (similarly aged googies of local mommies). She has already bedecked the entire downstairs with party stuff. Fully 8 googies are expected. To corral them, Mama-Mrs.-T-B. is here from Ecuador; Mama T-B. will come over; Mrs. T-B.'s local amiga Gladys (a Colombiana) will come over so Mama-Mrs.-T-B. won't feel alienated due to the language barrier; and I shall blessedly be at my job, yes hombre.

On Saturday, we host the local family for party #2. Eight relatives have RSVP'd so far, P man, and there could be more than twice that. Due to the finite number of chairs, everyone will have to sit on a lap. I plan to hang from the chandelier, si man.

On the N-400, I'll have to report that Mrs. T-B. is a member of the ominously subversive group called "Baby Boot Camp," gee man. Or not, no man.

Mini-B. has little use for stuffed animals, but he's quite facile with gizmos, doo-hickeys, and devices of all kinds. He managed to phone his local grandma twice, and some friends in south Texas once. He will either become an electronics expert or a mechanical engineer, man.

During Year 1, Mini-B. fell off our bed thrice on Mrs. T-B.'s watch but only once on mine. Victory at si, man!

I never really understood "toddling" before observing Mini-B., no man. He toddles, falls on his well-padded little butt, thinks that it's all great fun, and stands up again. It is good to have an upstanding youngster, see man.

No amount of googie-proofing a home is adequate, no man. Havoc indeed, man.

ETA: I shall add that in no other VJ forum would Mini-B. have gotten so many well-wishes, no man. Much grass (English-only in the various fora), gracias man.

Just curious but when mini bone picks up the cat does the cats tail start going back and forth real fast like? If so that's usually a sign to watch out cuz the cats getting p*ssed...that and their ears go back. Kids have a way of squeezing cats and dogs like a water balloon that needs popping. :D

Just wait until he dials 911 by accident.

Oh, he's too little to pick up the cat. The cat chiefly trots away, but Mini-B. has gleefully grabbed her tail a few times.

Mini-B. does have considerable strength, to be sure. His Apgar scores were 8 & 9 (no one ever gets a 10, no man), si man. When he was only a couple of days old, his little grip was stronger than the handshake of many adults with whom I've handshaken, si man.

After his birth, I blew home briefly from the hospital, being sure to take a, uh, used diaper with me for the cat's inspection and sniffing. I told her in no uncertain terms that the new addition to the household was a "human kitten" and her little brother, see man.

Just wait until he dials 911 by accident.
We'll have to explain that Mini-B. is going to be an electronics or telecommunications expert, and that he's this good already, si man.
