my question how long out they usually scheldule secont interview if anyone have lagos experience for 2nd interview. I am planning to go to Nigeria January or February just want to know best time to request for second interview that will possibilly fall into Feb/March.

I would think Mid Jan to late Feb but Lagos seems to know what you want and do the opposite. Once she turns in the items you should email them and ask if they would like to schedule the interview while you are there so they could talk to you also.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Hi,

Do you mind writing a complete review consulate experience.. especially more on the questions that was asked? Why would they be asking for her educational background or more pictures? Was there something they saw or question that make them doubt? Is she much more younger than you? Just requesting a new appointment and providing these documents might not be enough if you don't mentally understand why they are asking it.. in a sense, did they truly reveal what their red flag is with your petition.

This time of year it is rough getting into Lagos , between the Muslim holidays, the Christian ones , the government ones I am suprised they even open their doors. They may have asked about her education because large differenced in educational levels is supposedly a red flag.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Thank you all. most question ask is the one we all know like: how did you meet; plan for wedding; last time you talk and where did your fiancee work.

My fiancee and myself share thesame last name question was asked about that. She went into the interview well prepared and all question answered well. We think she might ask for her high school and college diploma to verify the same last name we share that we are not related because she really want to see those diploma.

or may be we might be wrong.

Our first interview was September 9. It took them a whole month to even give us our second date which is December 13. We also just need to submit more documentation. I have heard they are just responding to emails and schedule requests 1 time per month.
