Does the U.S. Embassy in Honduras want the Long Form (Forma Literal) for just the Honduras birth certificate? Or are they wanting this for both the US and Honduras birth certificate?

Does the U.S. Embassy in Honduras want the Long Form (Forma Literal) for just the Honduras birth certificate? Or are they wanting this for both the US and Honduras birth certificate?

Wondering if you got an answer.......the way I read the papers, they want this form for BOTH---it says here " in Forma Literal for each applicant AND the petitioner"...........I have no idea how to get a different type of birth certificate in Missouri...I don't think they exist!!! Some states have them and some do not...! SO I am wondering if I really need to figure this out or if my regular birth certificate is enough!

I would assume that it is only for the Honduran citizen because I don't know of a "long" form for US citizens. You could call or email the embassy though for a better answer... we were going to call them this week.

Forma Literal for Honduran documents, I think the main difference is one is hand written and one is typed. I sent in a 'certified copy' of my birth certificate, which cost me $20 at the dept of health and was returned to me at the interview.

edit: good luck calling the embassy, we never got through on the phone. I did get a quick reply one time I sent an email though.
