Nov 9th 2010 Petition received at California Service Center

May 4th 2011 Received petition Approval letter

May 12th 2011 Received Letter from NVC stating info has been forwarded to Lagos consulate office

July 14th 2011 Received Fiancé Visa packet and interview date (via email)

Sept 20th 2011 Interview day! Visa not approved.. Requesting more proof :-(

Sept 28th 2011 Second interview scheduled for early December :-)

Dec 5th 2011 Interview rescheduled consulate office caught fire :-(

Dec 6th 2011 Visa APPROVED!!!! :-D

no wahala! Nigeria is a country that is slightly bigger than Texas, but which is semi arid desert in the all but useless north, into which nearly 180 million people are crammed. This documentary speaks to the desperation that has consumed some people in that country..Unbelievable...

That was very touching. Thanks for sharing, I wonder which is better? A life as an illegal immigrant or life in Nigeria? A very though decison. "I have not walked in any of there shoes to know what I would do".

11/24/09 Rcvd ROC approval ltr...dated 11/18/09

12/04/09 Rcvd 10 yr Green Card in mail
