or, you can start doing the "99 bottles of beer on the wall" thingy.

Only ... better start with "99,999 bottles"..:crying::help:

Gringo D is always bringing the comic relief!

JerEve we are all going NUTS waiting. The longer we wait the more NUTS we go. I feel like the only thing that make me feel better is talking to Karen, but sometimes I think when we talk too much it makes her realize that we aren't physically together and it makes us both sadder! It really is a horribly ironic situation. I will add you to my prayer list and pray that God gives you comfort and patience.

Thanks, yea very frustrating I read some filers here got in 3months and i wonder if we got RFE ,lacking documents cause my fiance did not try to call USCIS for follow up.I read July filers here in Texas got approved already in NOA2. :(

There is no reason to follow up till 5 month period as USCIS will answer call us back.

It's been 4 months and 1 day now since we receive our NOA1 then my Fiance didn't get a chance to call for follow-up, sometimes it went to arguments for us if we talk about it.Just to share how frustrating it is when you don't know when is it coming my friends who went thru K1 advice me to follow up and ask to USCIS but my Fiance always busy :(:(:(

Many people are also waiting for their NOA2 for a very long time now, including us.We are on day 169 from our NOA1 date and still nothing. My fiance calls USCIS regularly to follow up our case too, but they always say the same thing..."Currently processing March 15 filers".It's upsetting to wait for this long already specially that the holidays are coming. But Thank God I have a wonderful fiance. He makes everything okay and makes me feel better all the time.No matter how long this wait is,I always think that this is just temporary and we both will be together soon and this time it's gonna be FOREVER

Be strong, support each other, pray hard.It will happen soon at the right time. :) :) :)

Yes when Noa1 arrived 1sr week July, my fiance sent me the message from USCIS. I check online but since then my Fiance didn't get chance to call service center for any follow up,my Fiance is Military i understand when we didn't talk about it when his underway now back in shore hope will get update cause takes longer.~ thanks and best wishes...

Eve, allow me to give you some advice, USCIS is well within the stated guide lines with regards to processing your case. If I were you I would not even be checking for any updates at this point, the frustration you will feel from checking and seeing 'nothing' different from the last time you checked makes this process seem longer than it really is.

That is like looking at the clock on the wall to see the time when you looked at the clock just five minutes before, then discover only five minutes have passed since the last look... makes for a very long hour. The hour did not get any longer, the clock is not any slower and looking every five minutes will not speed up the time.

What you need to do is keep yourself busy doing other things, get a hobby, find something that interests you and learn about it. But let USCIS do what they do best, although they do it tooo slow for the beneficiary/petitioner involved in the process. Remember, there are thousands of petitions needing USCIS attention, your NOA2 will arrive. This entire process is about waiting, waiting, waiting and more waiting.

So stop fighting with your fiance, it is not good for your relationship. Nor will any amount of extra stress, calling/checking online at USCIS and getting upset cause you to get that NOA2 quicker.

This will certainly test your ability to work together to achieve a common goal as a couple. If you think this is a challenge, this is nothing compared to how your relationship/marriage will be tested in the years to come.

Keep yourself busy and relax :)

Thank you,

I know i realized it, I'm lucky,my Fiance know how this all made me feel, he's never giving up on me, i even said will just get married here in Philippines i don't wanna go through this frustrating process but then later on i think of even ill get spouse visa takes more longer than this K1-Visa so whats the difference when my Fiance wants us start family in US and he is still young to retire here in Philippines.

The thought that i didn't get use of longer period without seeing my Fiance and his busy now with all work and other stuff preparing to get things settled stress me out cause i can't help him there.

Long story sorry, but anyway all is well for us right now were staying strong for all these things it'll come in time prayers always.

I spent time in the military myself, so I know how deployments and just daily life can be stressful depending on your job and the mission.

Like another poster stated, he's military so look into having your case expedited. There is a separate section at USCIS that handles military issues.

My Fiance did tried to call the Military hotline for the expedite, but USCIS requires an order that states he will be gone for deployment so our marriage takes place before it happen.Right now my Fiance is back this october stationed on Shore duty, not going to deployment so we can't ask to expedite the process. If we knew about it can process even his gone, we did filed it already last year. But I don't think i would want to be in US without him there.Take us a while to figure out how to file the I-129f , Military documents give him confusions with the process how to get me here and marry, those documents he brought with him here when he visit me last summer I did not understand it, when he gets back he try to seek advice again until we got here and some other friends help.

Ok, at least he tried. Hang in there and keep your head up.
