Any RUB's went through this and what was your experience and how much evidence did you send them?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I sent ours in last year about this time. It was approved without interview.

I sent tax returns for 2008, 2009, bank statments, copies of car titles, car insurance, life insurance, joint mortgage, copies of both our drivers licenses. we also sent copies of all of Pasha's medical and school information, copies of Alla's medical and school information listing me as a parent/spouse, copies of my health insurance covering the boys, etc. Basically ALL financial type documents, mosty from third parties.

I did NOT send...

Photos, NONE

"affidavits" from friends or relatives

utility bills

credit card statements

why?

Photos can be faked

affidavits can be faked

utility bills represent no co-obligation, if you do not poay they turn off the power. So what?

Same with credit cards...unsecured debt that neither has an interest in

None of those things would be bad, but they are not as solid as evidence showing mingling of assets and responsibilities.

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!

Thanks Gary :) I'm going to send them a few photo's though with credit card statements and utility bills along with the usual...just in case. Better safe then sorry I guess. What sucks is Kira has to fly into Anchorage for her finger prints/biometrics and that's a $500 r/t and if we get interviewed that's another $1,000 for the two of us. This immigration ####### blows sometimes.

Yes, we are lucky to live so close to the local office. The more you send the less chance you have to go for an interview. :P

I sent a good amount of the stuff listed above, three vacation photos, and all beneficiary information for retirement plans.
