Thanks to all of you for your support.......just got the email this morning from our lawyer that the expedite AND the waiver were approved!!!!!:dance::dance: The wife should be here by Christmas holiday!!!

A BIG thanks for all of your all's support....the journey is getting close to an end but I'll believe it when I see her coming down the concourse in SFO. Been messed over by circumstances too many times. With the Grace of God, she'll be here by New Years at least. I won't begrudge her a Christmas with blood family while she settles in our daughter to be (her niece) in living arrangements. Again thanks to EAbbas, Carolynhotstuff, and Leatherneck........I pray your journeys start new chapters or the new chapters that have started are blessed ones.

Thanks for your well wishes. Christmas is probably out of the question now as the Embassy has drug its feet and then sent everything registered mail. It took 10 days for them to review the case and now it's been 7 days and counting for the registered mail to get across Manila. GGGRRRRRR..... Maybe by New Years. Sorry for whining but as you all know, it's not easy being away from a SO for so long. Best wishes for a good holiday season to all!!

Well.......we can't win for losing it seems. The wife took her medical exam again as required and flagged the chest xray again.......meaning a two month sputum culture test.....sooooooo.......end of February at the earliest. So it ain't over till it's over as they say. The saga continues.........

:( im sorry... at least you are moving forward and not stagnant like us... we're still pending 6 months later... nothing known... nada... all we have been told is nothing is wrong with our case and its in normal processing in ap.... so why cant the embassy do these checks within 3-4 months like other embassies? :bonk:

I'm definitely feeling your pain on this........the embassy still hasn't sent my wife the letter requesting the requirements for a visa, ie, medical, new NBI background, etc.... we only got this from our I 601 waiver lawyer who has nothing to do with the I 130 at all!!! They emailed the letter to her a week later, after they said they mailed it to her. Still she doesn't have the letter. So your embassy isn't the only one with problems. Still no consolation,

This is what I told my wife as she was crying. I told her that I'd rather know that we still have three months to go as opposed to waiting day to day. I have done both and prefer the knowing. I pray for all those who still haven't any idea, waiting in limbo, and think there should be some sort of time limits placed upon the searches, if only more frequent and timely updates of status. It's a crying shame we're treated like this by people we employ.
