I don't think they ever send AR-11 confirmations out. I did mine online, never received confirmation, and they sent the I-751 reminder to my old address. I just filled as normal with my new address, no issues. I never printed or sent confirmation. I'm pretty sure they are aware that their record keeping system sucks!

For the taxes, I just sent full returns, personally.

Congrats to Sdw and Spoom!

You can send the returns no problem as long as you submit the w2 with them usually. i had to request our irs transcripts twice. and the first time they screwed up somehow with davids name? right social wrong name..so dunno ####### was up with that lol. and ya i never ever got any confirmations for my ar 11, only the 865 that david sent got a confirmation.

Thank you for the feedback guys! I was a little nervous about sending the confirmation for my address change since I did it on the late side; I didn't want to create problems... And I got my notice at my old address too

I requested the transcripts last night but I think I'll just send the returns. I have the transcript for our 2010 return, just not this last one.

Thank you again for your help!

On a side note I did not get a reminder to file for removal of conditions. Also, my green card was issued in my maiden name. I sent in my I751 with my married name and they sent my NOA1 and biometric appt. to me in my married name. I didn't send in the W2's with my tax returns just the returns that were done by a tax accountant.

Welcome to the long wait everyone kicking.gif

When I called the military help line with USCIS - they told me to put my new address on the I-751 application and there would be no issues. I got my NOA1 at my new address so I guess what I was told was true.

hey everyone...just wanted to pass along that I my ROC was approved!! *Whew* took a long time..and the orginal packet and RFE I had to send was a little weak... I did have 4 strong affidavits from friends...so for those of you starting this process...they sure don't hurt. I also wrote in several letters of why everything else was weak. I myself didn't even realize that my name didn't get on the bank account a year and a half AFTER we were married! In my letter I wrote, I apologized and said I had no idea what Tim and I were doing that it took so long to add my name!! Anyway..it's done!! We didn't even get interviewed! I should be receiving my card in about a week, and I just got the official "Congratultions" letter in the mail yesterday! I'll move on to citizenship in a couple years or so. I need a break! lol....
