I've traveled back to Canada with my extension as well, no issues. Not even a trip to secondary. I found that waiting on ROC was a little annoying, but it doesn't disrupt life much, you can still travel, work etc. The way you always do. Not like waiting on the K-1 or AOS.

Yes for sure. I notice Vermont is really moving on the NOAs and California is laying low and not putting them out in any timely way. I hope to hear this week with the NOA at least...shouldn't take longer than three weeks from filing to first NOA. I've got a few months before I head out. Worse case is that I travel within the current G/C and get back to the USA before the expiration....all good but would be nice to never have to wait for anything like this again frankly :D

Received my approval letter today, finally!! So glad to be done for a while. I'm not going to apply for citizenship until I have kiddies so I'm looking forward to a break from all this! Yay!

Congrats Sapphire!! Its about time!

I always thought I'd apply for citizenship immediately, but now I'm not in a rush either. I'm looking forward to a break from this stuff.... and I'd like to get my monies worth out of that 10 year card.

Ashen, that is scary. If there is one thing USCIS is great at, it is getting your money :P LOL! Have you had any luck calling?

Update! They cashed it yesterday! haha You're so right. I was getting worried when they weren't cashing the cheque cause they do like their money, but I'd been following the other May ROC filers, and it seemed like there was a big wave of cheque cashing this week. haha
