I know others have been away longer, but I'm so down being almost 7 months without seeing him. When will we get an interview date? :(

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Remain strong my friend. This time away from our loved one gives us time to reflect and know that what we are doing helps to secure our reasons and convictions of our love for the other. I understand this separation. I too miss him beyond words and can't wait to start our happily ever after.

We are a community of support and a wealth of information. We will get there.

It's been almost 7 months for us too. The crappy part is because of schedules and finances he won't be here for Christmas. That really bums me and the kids out.

But chin up, stay strong! If anything, because of all this, our relationships are rock solid.

Hey! I checked your timeline and our NOA2 and NVC dates are the same. Lada has her medical exam Thursday and we will discuss a date for the interview after the results of her exam. Hang in there and keep sending positive waves! :D

I'm sorry :( Perhaps you could visit him? I know there is the flood situation, but maybe, just maybe?

December 2009 -- Visit to Malaysia.

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

August 2010 -- Cancellation of K1 Visa application.

Winter has fallen across the land. Where you live it will soon bring snow & Ice. Your problem really is how to shovel away the snow but keep the Ice where its warm. I believe you have that part figured out. You are the only one I know that wants Ice so bad.

My husband says his father kept the Ice in a special glass. He tried to keep it from melting by covering it with Crown Royal. Sometimes it took a whole bottle. Maybe you can try just a little to calm your nerves!

This should help you know you are not alone. We started this Journey June 23 2010 since this time My wife and I have traveled to Malaysia Jacarta and Dubai for new years. Which is the last time I saw her other than our twice a day Yahoo video conference. (which to me makes it worse) we Just recieved an interview and you should definately be next at the window. be patient it will come.
